VIDEO: Psaki Lies, Says Biden Never Called For MLB To Move All-Star Game

Press Secretary Jen Psaki appeared to directly contradict previous remarks made by President Joe Biden last week during a press conference on Monday, claiming that Biden did not call for Major League Baseball to move its All-Star Game to punish Georgia for an election reform bill that was passed last week. Psaki claimed Biden expressed support for the MLB “being able to make the decision.”

“So he was not dictating, for what Major League Baseball should do, that they should, [sic] dictating that they should move the All-Star Game, that was their decision, they made that decision, and as he stated earlier, he certainly supports that,” Psaki said.

When pressed about Biden’s previous remarks, Psaki backtracked. “Well, he supports them being able to make the decision, and respond to what their players uh, act, you know, asks are given [sic], you know, many of them are impacted, of course, by these laws.”

However, as National File reported last week, Biden enthusiastically supported the move on its political basis, and did not merely affirm the MLB’s right to make such a decision:

“So, Mr. President, what do you think about the possibility that baseball decides to move their All-Star game, out of Atlanta because of this political issue,” ESPN’s Sage Steele asked Biden during an an appearance on the network this Thursday.

“I think today’s professional athletes are acting incredibly responsibly,” Biden said. “I would strongly support them doing that. People look to them, they’re leaders, look at what’s happened with the NBA, as well. Look at what’s happened across the board.”

Biden went on to claim, without evidence, that “the very people who are victimized the most are the people who are the leaders in these, in these various sports, and it’s just not right.”

“This is Jim Crow on steroids what they’re doing in, in Georgia, and forty other states,” Biden pontificated.
