A convoy of 2,700 trucks entered Ottawa, Canada’s capital, on January 29 to protest the Covid-19 policies of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau including mandatory vaccination for truckers entering Canada through the US-Canada border. Dubbed the ‘Freedom convoy’, it has amassed support from all sections of the public. The protest is being organized by Canada Unity.
The convoy is 45-50 miles long with supporters lining highways and overpasses along the route. Since January 23, the group’s GoFundMe page raised over ten million dollars Canadian to cover the cost of the journey and to take care of truckers who have settled into Ottawa; the amount was subsequently confiscated by GoFundMe, drawing even more attention. The protests received an additional boost when farmers joined. According to Twitter users, hundreds of farmers have arrived in Ottawa in their tractors. It is a growing protest against the COVID “vaccine” mandates that is inspiring the world and is reportedly coming to the US in March.

Freedom Convoy: Longest Convoy In History!
Canadian PM Justin Trudeau goes into hiding as farmers join truckers in protest against vaccine mandate reported on January 30:
“As per reports, the truckers have been camping near Parliament Hill and demanding reversal of all vaccine mandates in the country. A truck driver Harold Jonker told BBC, ‘We want to be free, we want to have our choice again, and we want hope – and the government has taken that away.’ He added, ‘The intent is to stay until all these mandates are dropped…all the truck drivers are used to camping in their trucks all week long. We are staying here until we can go back to work.’”
While Trudeau dismissed the truckers as a “fringe minority”, Freedom Convoy: Canadian truckers, more protest vaccine mandate reports:
“The convoys broke world records on the longest convoys in history with many over 40 miles long! The total number of trucks is unknown but it is in the tens of thousands. American truckers have joined. Canadians citizens have rallied to the cause and at every overpass and side road they gathered waving flags, holding signs and giving out supplies to the drivers.”
Canada Says “Enough Is Enough!”
‘COUNTRY IS IN REVOLT’: Joe Rogan talks Ottawa-bound truck convoy
“At the top of Wednesday’s edition of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan asked his guest Montreal native Valentine Thomas whether she was aware of the convoy. ‘Your country is in revolt. It’s a giant convoy of trucks. That’s apparently some insane amount of people,’ said Rogan. ‘Fifty thousand trucks that are headed to Ottawa to protest the vaccine mandates.’ Rogan told Thomas. ‘Apparently, they are all being mandated to be vaccinated,’ said Rogan. ‘They’re like, ‘Hey, we’re not even in contact with anybody. We’re in our truck. Like, we just drive.’
On Wednesday, Ottawa police estimated there could be up to 2,000 demonstrators in Ottawa to protest their opposition to the vaccine mandate. The demonstration is predicted to last several days.”

Freedom Convoy: Canadian truckers, more protest vaccine mandate
“A vaccine mandate for truckers and travelers entering Canada was proverbially the straw that broke the camel’s back and a group of truckers who lost their jobs decided to drive to the nation’s capital Ottawa, Ontario to voice their dissention. The movement has grown exponentially with thousands of semis and private vehicles joining in convoys from across the nation converging on Ottawa on January 29.
The Canadian government has asserted that vaccination is an essential component in moving past the COVID-19 pandemic. Effective Jan. 15, 2022, all travelers entering Canada, including truck drivers, must use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory travel information, including proof of vaccination. The United States has also followed suit with a similar mandate for truckers coming from Canada and Mexico.
‘The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa who are holding unacceptable views that they are expressing do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other, who know of that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms, our rights, our values, as a country,’ Prime Minster Trudeau said the 26th of January…..These statements angered many Canadians as they have come out in support of their freedoms regardless of their vaccination status and ethnic background in large numbers.
The convoys officially broke world records on the longest convoys in history with many over 40 miles long…. The total number of trucks is of yet unknown but it is in the tens of thousands. American truckers have also joined. Canadians citizens have rallied to the cause and at every overpass and side road they gathered waving flags, holding signs and giving out supplies to the drivers.
Brian Hunstad of Saskatchewan said that on Monday the 24th when the convoy came through, it met with much support…. ‘we’ve been to a few protests but this was different. No anger, everyone was happy and ready to be done with all these mandates and lockdowns. Just regular people with their families ready for this to be done. Very joyful.’….
The Freedom Convoy organized by Tamara Lich, Benjamin Dichter and Chris Barber held a press conference on Jan. 30…. They plan to peacefully remain in Ottawa until the government restores the freedom of all Canadians by lifting all Covid mandates and allowing the country to return to normal. They said they have enough funds to remain in the capital for years if necessary. The Prime Minster has declined to meet with the truckers and is currently quarantining after a positive Covid test.
The organizers have joined forces with locals and are supplying the needs of the truckers, showers, hot meals and food. While some of the trucks are lining the streets of Ottawa, many are parked in fields around the city. The group is committed to remaining peaceful, are guarding monuments, shoveling snow, playing hockey, picking up garbage and feeding the homeless…..
In the last election Prime Minster Trudeau received 21 percent of the vote but Canada doesn’t have term limits for their leaders. The convoy leaders feel that they are representing the other 80 percent that don’t have a voice and have lost jobs and businesses due to the lockdowns.
In some of the provinces those without a vaccine passport are restricted from shopping, going to gyms, attending sporting events and Quebec was even going to implement a tax on the unvaccinated but that plan is now going to be abandoned.
While thousands gathered in province capitals and in Ottawa, many from both sides of the border gathered at several major US/Canada entrances points. The Sweet Grass, Montana/ Coutts, Alberta crossing saw large numbers gather. Jake Zacharias was there with his drone filming on the 29th. ‘We saw people, all kinds, vaccinated, unvaccinated uniting, coming together for the first time in 2 years. We saw hope, we saw people who are done with all the mandates, we saw the Canada we used to have. Freedom to choose. Freedom of speech.’ He estimated that over 1,000 vehicles were at that crossing.”
Why Trudeau’s Head of Security Quit
Freedom Convoy – Canadian Truckers Inspire the WORLD! (video)
The video reports that Corporal Bulford, Prime Minister Trudeau’s head of personal security for 8 years, just resigned! Bulford is a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The video explains that the truckers’ movement is turning into a working class revolution in Canada.

“Commenting on the restrictions and mandates that are against the Charters of Rights and Freedoms in Canada.”
This is a very powerful speech.
US Trucker Convoy In March
Freedom Convoy: Canadian truckers, more protest vaccine mandate says:
“The Freedom convoy had sparked interest and support world-wide. Across Europe, Central America, Australia and the US truckers are organizing their own convoys for freedom. According to the press conference, “the convoy has started a cultural movement for cultural unity in Canada that has blossomed into a global cultural movement, pushing back against the political class who have failed us and are pushing us into serfdom.”
US trucker convoy coming: Joe Biden will ignore protests at his peril
“As hard as it is to imagine, President Biden’s political fortunes are about to get worse. The massive trucker convoy that crossed Canada to protest against that country’s new vaccine mandates will almost certainly be replicated in the U.S. and will bring with it huge headaches for the Biden White House. Biden pretends to be the champion of the “little guy”; he claims to support blue-collar workers. Truckers are exactly the kind of folks Biden is meant to embrace, but he will not do that.
The drivers protesting the vaccine mandates have already been portrayed by the liberal media as right-wing zealots and science deniers, which is only one notch above climate deniers. A Facebook group organizing the U.S. convoy that had amassed 130,000 members has been tossed off the social media platform amid allegations that the movement was being promoted by right-wing extremists, which the organizers deny.
Biden will not dare stand up for the truckers. And yet, if he dismisses them as a ‘small fringe minority,’ as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently did with the ‘Freedom Convoy’ drivers up north, they could get mad. They could, if pushed, call for a sick-out of America’s vital truckers. Whatever supply chain problems we have had would pale before the catastrophe that could unfold if tens of thousands of drivers simply walked off the job for a day or two. Imagine what would happen to transportation costs, and inflation.
The convoy protests would come at an awkward time. The public has had it with the government’s draconian (and largely ineffective) measures to combat COVID-19. Polling shows people are ready to move on. They are emboldened by a growing body of evidence indicating that the restrictions and rules promulgated by our government – under both Presidents Trump and Biden – were a mistake.
A new study from Johns Hopkins University shows that shutting down the country reduced COVID mortality by only 0.2 percent, while causing ‘devastating effects’ on the economy and drastic social ills. Further, the research suggests that lockdowns ‘are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.’ People are also tired of being told not to question the ‘authorities.’ They are fed up with officials who say immodestly that they represent science even as many of their pronouncements turn out to be worthless.
The recent flap over Joe Rogan’s interview with cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, who is critical of the vaccines and the approach the government has taken, is ridiculous. Why should we not question the science around COVID treatments and approaches? And especially when the costs to society and the economy have been so desperately high? It is a sign of weakness that the authorities are so afraid of debate.
Truckers were driven to protest by new mandates from North America’s governments that anyone driving a rig across the U.S.-Canada border must be vaccinated or quarantine as a condition of being allowed to enter either country. Just like that, truck drivers went from being essential workers, highly lauded for risking their personal health to deliver goods to locked-down communities, to being officially classified as “non-essential” functionaries. They feel jilted by an ungrateful populace.
But the trucker protests have become a rallying point for millions irate about what many view as COVID-inspired overreach by autocratic governments. Thousands turned out to cheer the miles-long convoy across Canada, even though the government of Nova Scotia, literally making the protesters’ case, outlawed people from lining the highways and imposed stiff fines on those who disobeyed.
Trudeau went into hiding when the convoy reached Ottawa, the nation’s capital. Trudeau did himself no favors, condemning the large assembly but refusing to meet with them. Despite his apparent concerns, there was in the large crowd not a single arrest over the past weekend. There were no acts of violence. The liberal media made a big fuss over a supposed desecration of a monument (someone peed on it, apparently) and because someone spotted a Confederate flag.
To the chagrin of the left, it was, to use a once-popular description, a ‘largely peaceful’ protest. This sort of scene will likely be replicated in coming weeks in Washington, D.C. Biden, who constantly reminds voters of his middle-class roots, will face the same issue as Trudeau. Will he demonize the truckers? Will he listen to their grievances? Or will he scurry back to Delaware and hope they all go away?
The trucker rally will draw support from people who are angry that governments have shown indifference to the plight of restauranteurs, hairdressers and countless other small business owners whose livelihoods were callously destroyed by officious bureaucrats. People who are angry that their children have lost immeasurable learning because schools were closed and have suffered emotional impairment as they wear pointless masks day in and day out. They are angry at the stupidity of it all.
Biden misled the public when he promised he had a plan to shut down the virus. Now he has a choice: rebuff the truckers or hear their pleas. Stick to his failing policies or change course and admit mistakes have been made. Declare the vaccines important and helpful, but not the only answer. Admit that we need to accept the virus as part of our lives, that we can move forward and that one size does not fit all.
Can Biden reboot? We shall see.”
‘The Five’ skewer Biden, Trudeau over COVID leadership
Truckers are planning to launch a California to DC protest starting March 1
U.S. truckers gearing up for Convoy to D.C. 2022
“Brian Brase, a truck driver from Ohio, is one of the core organizers of a group planning the Convoy to D.C. 2022. Brase said. ‘This is bigger than any one person, company or organization.’ Brase said the convoy is organizing to protest vaccination mandates. He stressed it is not an anti-vaccination movement but rather about ‘human and constitutional rights.’
‘This isn’t about the trucking mandates. There’s so much more in play there. We are just truck drivers standing up for our human rights, and as Americans it’s about our constitutional rights,’ he said. ‘It’s about a human being deciding what gets injected into them. We’re not about shaming people who aren’t vaccinated or shaming those who are. It’s about choice.’
The vaccination mandates in the private sector and at lower government levels are hindering access to healthcare, education and law enforcement – to name a few basic needs – according to Brase. ‘There are good people, good teachers, good nurses, good police officers losing their jobs over these mandates,’ he said.”
