BREAKING: With One Day Left In Office, Pompeo Declares China ‘Committing Genocide’ Against Uyghurs

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared, using the official Secretary of State account on Twitter, that the communist Chinese government is “committing genocide” against Uyghur Muslims and other ethnic groups in the province of Xinjiang.

“I have determined that the People’s Republic of China is committing genocide and crimes against humanity in Xinjiang, China, targeting Uyghur Muslims and members of other ethnic and religious minority groups,” Pompeo declared.

The outgoing Secretary of State added, “These acts are an affront to the Chinese people and to civilized nations everywhere.”

“The People’s Republic of China and the CCP must be held to account,” he concluded.

This comes even as American businesses benefit from this genocide in the form of slave labor, according to some.

National File recently reported that Apple is lobbying for more lax restrictions on China, so they can continue using political prisoners to make their devices, that are then sold to United States consumers. National File reported:

Lobbyists working for Apple are applying pressure on the elected class in Washington, DC to dilute the effects of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. That proposed legislation would require all US companies to certify that they do not use slavery or forced labor from the Chinese region of Xinjiang, where the ethnic minority Uyghur population are being herded into concentration camps and used as a source of cheap labor.

Human rights groups have determined that the Communist Chinese government has ordered as many as 3 million Uyghur people into the newly built concentration camps in Xinjaing.

Apple is heavily dependent on manufacturing in China for many of the parts that make up its line of products, including the iconic iPhone. Human rights organizations have discovered instances where Apple’s supply chain has been serviced by Uyghur forced labor. That evidence suggests those Uyghurs are, essentially, slaves.
