President Donald appeared on Newsmax TV Wednesday night to discuss the passing of his friend and conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh, as well as various other issues related to his tenure in the presidency. President Trump revealed that his nickname for Limbaugh on the golf course was “The Bull” in reference to the latter’s impressive and power on long tee shots.
“Mr. President, we gotta wrap it up, real quick, who is the better golfer, you or Rush Limbaugh? ‘Cause I’ve seen you guys on golf course together,” Newsmax TV host Greg Kelly asked President Trump.
“I won’t say, I won’t say, but I will tell you this about Rush,” President Trump said. “I used to call him ‘The Bull’ because he was a strong – you know, in prime time, he was a strong guy, and when he hit it went very far. When the ball was hit properly it went very far, I’d call him ‘The Bull.’”

President Trump added, “He was a strong guy and he was a great guy, and he’s gonna be missed, and there was nobody like him, and even you, as a professional, would say that. I mean, there was just nobody like him.”
Limbaugh and President Trump golfed together on several occasions, with both men always sporting beaming smiles.

In a statement released shortly after Limbaugh’s death, President Trump remarked admirably on the talk radio icon’s legacy:
“The great Rush Limbaugh has passed away to a better place, free from physical pain and hostility,” wrote President Trump. “His honor, courage, strength, and loyalty will never be replaced.”
“Rush was a patriot, a defender of liberty, and someone who believed in all of the greatness our Country stands for,” President Trump added. “Rush was a friend to myself and millions of Americans – a guiding light with the ability to see the truth and paint vivid pictures over the airwaves.”
“Melania and I express our deepest condolences to his wonderful wife, Kathryn, his family, and all of his dedicated fans. He will be missed greatly.”
In an interview with Fox News, Trump said, “[Limbaugh] was very brave, I mean he, in theory, could have been gone four months ago. He was fighting until the very end.”
