Biden regime press secretary Jen Psaki blamed President Donald Trump’s rhetoric for the increase in hate crimes directed against Asian Americans the day after a man shot and killed two people of white descent and six of Asian descent at a series of massage parlors in Atlanta. Police have not determined the attacks to be a hate crime, and say the suspect confessed and blamed a sex addiction.
When asked by a reporter why Joe Biden believes there is an increase in hate crimes directed against Asians in the United States, she blamed President Trump’s rhetoric surrounding COVID-19. President Trump frequently refers to the virus as the China Virus.
“I think there’s no question that some of the damaging rhetoric that we saw during the prior administration, blaming, you know, calling COVID, you know, uh, the Wuhan Virus, or other things, led to perceptions of the Asian American community that are inaccurate, unfair, that have raised threatening, has elevated threats against Asian Americans,” said Psaki.

While Psaki also noted that Biden did not want to attribute motive, local police say they have obtained a confession from the killer, and suggested that the attacks were not motivated by hate.
As National File reported, police said “He apparently has an issue, what he considers a sex addiction, and sees these locations as something that allows him to go to these places and it’s a temptation for him that he wanted to eliminate. Like we said, it’s still early on.”
Police also said “The suspect did take responsibility for the shootings. He said that early on once we began the interviews with him. He claims, as the Chief said, this is still early, but he does claim that it was not racially motivated.”

This has not stopped prominent politicians, including Vice President Kamala Harris, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Bottoms, and RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel from blaming anti-Asian discrimination for the attack.
