Twitter Leftists Are Mad At Barron Trump Because He’s Tall

Some parts of left-wing Twitter became upset after the New York Post obtained a photo of 15-year-old Barron Trump, the 6’7 son of President Donald Trump and Melania Trump, towering over his mother when leaving a building.

The Post took a humorous approach to the image, writing “He’s the new Trump tower” and noted that President Trump has joked about his youngest son’s height at recent speaking events. “Barron is 6-foot-7, can you believe it? And he’s 15,” the 45th President recently remarked. “Eric’s short – he’s only 6-foot-6.”

However, some Twitter users relayed the news of the youngest of President Trump’s children having a growth spurt with much more hostility. Some users accused Melania of cheating on her husband, while others said he looked “swollen”, and more still made memes mocking the 15-year-old’s height. Others hoped that Barron would oppose his parents’ alleged racism.

Other Twitter users, apparently less engaged with left wing politics and more interested in sports and humor, made jokes about the 15-year-old joining the NBA.

Interestingly, in 2015 there were exactly 36 NBA players who were 7 feet tall. As noted by the Daily Herald, “a study in 2011 claimed that the probability of a U.S. citizen at least seven feet tall to play in the NBA was 17 percent. The same study indicates that a person between 6-6 and 6-8 has a .007 percent chance of playing in the NBA.” Should Barron Trump continue growing and reach 7′, he would have a statistically high chance at becoming a successful professional athlete.
