60,000 (sophisticated) vaccinated people on Saturday attended the ‘We Love NYC: Homecoming Concert’ in Central Park.
Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer didn’t have a care in the world and danced backstage as tens of thousands of Americans are trapped in Afghanistan behind enemy lines.
The concert came to a halt while Barry Manilow performed as lightning approached New York.
Thunderstorms from Hurricane Henri reached northern New Jersey around 7:30 PM ET so concertgoers were told to leave.

All concertgoers were told to leave the Great Lawn.
There is a pause in the #NYCHomeComingWeek concert due to weather. Please carefully exit the Great Lawn.

The concert may resume without a crowd.
CNN now reporting that event organizers want to try and bring the concert back on (when safe) if they can even if there's no crowd. (CNN would still air it)
