Lorne Michaels’ ‘Saturday Night Live’ Rocked By Underage Grooming and Sex Assault Allegations

Last Updated on August 26, 2022

Former Saturday Night Live cast member Horatio Sanz’s sexual assault accuser is now making allegations against alleged enablers Jimmy Fallon, Tracy Morgan and Lorne Michaels, the executive producer of the Democrat-friendly establishment “comedy” show Saturday Night Live. A woman sued Horatio Sanz, NBCUniversal, and SNL Studios, alleging sexual assault. The woman claims that she was sexually assaulted by Sanz at age seventeen after previously being groomed by Sanz beginning at age fourteen. Horatio Sanz’s representative has called the woman’s claims “categorically false.”

Now, the woman has filed a new complaint that tries to name Lorne Michaels, Jimmy Fallon, and Tracy Morgan as defendants in the lawsuit. The woman reportedly claims that Sanz groped and kissed her and fingered her without her permission, and she claims that Jimmy Fallon knew about it and that she was even allowed to hang out at Saturday Night Live after-parties when she was under the age of 18. The woman even says that she met and conversed with Michaels and that the alleged assault happened at a Tracy Morgan-hosted party.

Lorne Michaels and Saturday Night Live have a history of shilling for the political Establishment — acting as a forum for politicians like Hillary Clinton and John McCain to improve their public image while offering lukewarm “comedy” propaganda that demonizes conservatives. This scandal could damage the Saturday Night Live propaganda institution. Former SNL actor Chris Kattan alleged that Lorne Michaels tried to coerce Kattan into having sex with a female director, which Michaels’ team denied.

Ex-SNL cast members have described Lorne Michaels’ interactions with women who work for him on the show.

Former SNL cast member Victoria Jackson said in the oral history book Live From New York: “So then I did my little standup comedy act. I guess I had about ten minutes. I sang my songs and did my handstand poetry, and Lorne was watching with about three Lornettes. You know, they’re called the Lornettes, the girls who work for Lorne and make sure he has plenty of popcorn. The bravest cast members would eat some of Lorne’s popcorn but I was scared to. But one time I did and like one kernel fell on the floor and one of the Lornettes gave me a dirty look. They’re not supposed to let any of them fall on the floor, you see.”

Former SNL cast member Jon Lovitz said in the same book: “I think Nora Dunn got a lot of her stuff on because of her relationship with Lorne. She would get everything on. I thought that was the reason, and a lot of other people thought that was the reason.”

“Then she would complain: ‘The show’s against women.’ She got all of her stuff on, almost all of it. She had her own writer hired for her, Christine Zander. And then she would say how tough it was for women and stuff. I just was like, what are you talking about?” stated Lovitz.
