As reported earlier by the National File, Kaitlin Bennett’s vehicle was attacked by a group of college students in Ohio. A week later, Bennett’s lawyer is busy confronting a threat that was sent over a public tweet.
Due to the nature of the tweet, and likely the ratio effect of the reactions to the message itself, the tween as since been removed.
However, the National File was able to obtain the original message posted by the woman who expressed regret for not committing a vehicular crime against Bennett.
“The fact that I just passed Kaitlin Bennett in that nasty huge orange truck on the highway but didn’t get to rear end her bc I wasn’t driving will upset me for the rest of my life,” the tweet read.
Mike Yoder, the lawyer representing both Bennett and the owner of the “nasty orange truck” referenced in the tweet, was quick to suggest that the tweet be removed because otherwise the message would be considered an actionable threat.
Hi, Bridget. I’m Kaitlin’s lawyer.
That ‘nasty huge orange truck’ belongs to @Joelpatrick1776, not @KaitMarieox.
I also rep Joel.
Please note threatening my client is actionable. Kindly, delete your tweet.
Apologies for not sending a formal cease & desist via USPS mail.

A few people on social media have also been quick to call out how ridiculous it is for this person to assume this care belonged to Bennett due to the giant sign on the windshield that reads “Legendary Black Redneck.”
Due to the nature of the tweet, and likely the ratio effect of the reactions to the message itself, the message has since been removed from Twitter.
It is unclear if the original poster deleted the tweet, or if it was removed by the platform.
However, the National File was able to obtain the original message posted by the woman who openly threatened Bennett.
