Michael Bloomberg got called out big time by a questioner at his FOX News town hall event on Monday night.
The man who asked the question wanted to know if Bloomberg’s life is more important than his or his family’s. It’s a great point considering Bloomberg is protected by men with some of the same guns he wants to ban for everyone else.
The Daily Caller reports:
Audience Member Calls Out Bloomberg For Pushing Gun Control While Using Armed Guards: ‘Does Your Life Matter More Than Mine?’
An audience member called out former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg for “pushing for more gun control” when he has “an armed security detail.”
“How do you justify pushing for more gun control when you have an armed security detail that’s likely equipped with the same firearms and magazines that you seek to ban the common citizen from owning?” the man asked at a Monday evening Fox News town hall in Manassas, Virginia. “Does your life matter more than mine or my family’s or these peoples’?”
The audience applauded before Bloomberg’s answer.
“Look, I probably get 40 or 50 threats every week, ok, and some of them are real,” Bloomberg responded.”That just happens when you are the mayor of New York City or you are very wealthy, and if you are campaigning for president of the United States you get lots of threats.”

Lots of people were unimpressed with Bloomberg’s answer.
And Bloomberg’s initial response infers yes, his life is more important, as a wealthy man and presidential candidate.

Bloomberg answer, but I’m wealthy.

He never directly answered the question in this clip and essentially told the guy “Yes, my life is more important because I’m rich and famous. I get death threats all the time.” 😐 because the poors never get death threats right?

It’s different for Bloomberg because he’s Michael Bloomberg.
