The Oregon Healthy Authority has advised people to stop performing rimjobs–licking anuses–during this pandemic to minimize the spread of the disease, in a little graphic offering alternative sexual practices.

The suggestion comes after it was revealed that the COVID-19 coronavirus can be transmitted via fecal matter–as well as saliva or mucus.

In the graphic, “rimming” was considered a no-no, while masturbation, sex toys, sexting, and avoiding promiscuity were encouraged.

Condoms and good hygiene were also thoroughly recommended for those who wished to engage in sexual activities amid the crisis.

In a tweet from The Portland Mercury, they wrote “Here’s the gist of Oregon Health Authority’s advice: Do masturbate, don’t rim, and do practice commonsense guidelines like using condoms and washing your damn hands.”

To the tweet, one social media user responded “How do I submit this article to the Library of Congress so it can be preserved for future generations?”

“What about steamers?” sarcastically inquired another.

Last month, New York made a similar guide which was derided by readers for making similar suggestions.

According to the NY Health document:

• You can get COVID-19 from a person who has it.
o The virus can spread to people who are within about 6 feet of a person with
COVID-19 when that person coughs or sneezes.
o The virus can spread through direct contact with their saliva or mucus.

• We still have a lot to learn about COVID-19 and sex.
o COVID-19 has been found in feces of people who are infected with the virus.
o COVID-19 has not yet been found in semen or vaginal fluid.
o We know that other coronaviruses do not efficiently transmit through sex

The document recommended taking care during sex, stating:

• Kissing can easily pass COVID-19. Avoid kissing anyone who is not part of your small circle
of close contacts.
• Rimming (mouth on anus) might spread COVID-19. Virus in feces may enter your mouth.
• Condoms and dental dams can reduce contact with saliva or feces, especially during oral
or anal sex.
