Wanda Lenius is being investigated for the alleged murder of her husband who passed away after ingesting fish tank cleaner in soda.
Mesa City Police Department’s homicide detective Teresa Van Galder verified an active investigation into the death of Gary Lenius.
“As this is an active investigation, I cannot go into any details at this time regarding the case,” Van Galder said.
The mainstream media learned about Lenius and the unfortunate passing of her husband last moth. Quickly, the mainstream news jumped on the narrative that a Donald J. Trump coronavirus press briefing was to blame.
Trump had just made announcements that there was promising research in using chloroquine to treat coronavirus.
National File previously reported on the discovery of Lenius’ mental illness history and history of addiction, as well as her extensive history with doctors and taking prescription medication. Not only was Lenuis mentally ill, but she had tried to divorce her husband before.
“What bothers me about this is that Gary was a very intelligent man, a retired engineer who designed systems for John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa, and I really can’t see the scenario where Gary would say, ‘Yes, please, I would love to drink some of that Koi fish tank cleaner,’” said one of Gary’s close friends.
“It just doesn’t make any sense.”
According to the Free Becon, those who knew Lenius and Gary had noted a consistent abusive behavioral pattern. Lenius would ‘constantly’ berate Gary when they went out in public. Apart from seeking divorce in 2012, Lenius was charged domestic assault against Gary in 2001.
According to the charges from 2001, Lenius had repeatedly hit Gary using a bird cage.
Not only was there undeniable issues in the marriage between Lenius, but the couple was also very vocally against President Trump, and had previously donated to Democrats.
This latest development has caused some to question whether a couple who vocally dislikes President Trump and has donated to Democrats would suddenly drink fish tank cleaner, claiming it was at the president’s behest, as a prophylactic against coronavirus.
