According to recent footage and a police alert, Portland’s lesser known sibling autonomous zone is in the process of being forcefully removed after the infamous CHAZ/CHOP in Seattle gains permanent border walls, despite President Donald Trump’s repeated offers to mobilize troops to clear out the anarchist commune.
Recent footage shows the kitted-up riot police tear down barricades demarcating the Portland autonomous zone, as local authorities reclaim control of the area after the zone’s members established part of their commune outside the mayor’s apartment.

Earlier this morning, Portland Police made a Twitter alert advising nearby residents to stay at home in case tensions flared as law enforcement reclaimed the zone.
They tweeted: “PPB is declaring a civil disturbance and unlawful assembly from NW 11th east to NW Park Ave and NW Irving south to NW Everett St. If you do not live inside a dwelling in this area, leave immediately to the west. If you do not leave you are subject to arrest or use of force.”

One person joked, “Amazing how quick the mayor changes his tune when they set up outside his apartment,” as Seattle’s CHAZ or CHOP remains despite being taken over by a self-appointed gun-running warlord. Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan described the zone as “peaceful,” and told President Trump it would be “unconstitutional” and “illegal” to use military force to clear out the area.
Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best reported that in the few days following the establishment of the Seattle Autonomous Zone 911 calls for violent crime and rape more than tripled.
