Tommy Robinson, the anti-Islam activist has been forced to leave the UK while fearing for his family’s safety after an arson attack on his wife’s house.
In a video shared on social media, Tommy Robinson explained that his wife’s property was subject to an arson attack a few weeks ago, and “at that point, we left the country straight away”:
I’m looking at relocating my family which is pretty hard to do, especially with Covid. We couldn’t even find a hotel. Obviously my wife has had enough of everything. Someone has given us somewhere to stay so we left the country… I was due to be flying back for the demonstration, but now obviously with this 14 day quarantine, I won’t be able to get back out. My kids are out here. I’m still in the process of finding a permanent relocation for them. I’m finding new schools for my daughters. I need my family to be away because they’re not safe.
Robinson said that he thinks he knows who targeted his family. He said that it wasn’t Muslims, but happened “after all the BLM stuff.”
Leftists on Twitter were quick to celebrate Robinson’s persecution. Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, a lawyer and leftist activist, said that “no country should give Tommy Robinson refuge,” and that the arson attack was simply “payback time for inciting hate against all those who sought refuge in [the] UK from persecution/war/economic oppression”:

Others claimed that he was making up the attack entirely, and that he had just left the country to escape the ramifications from supposedly being a fraud:

Yet more mocked him, saying it was hypocritical for him to flee the country for his own safety when he has taken a tough stance against immigration and radical Islam:

People have their own opinions on tommy Robinson but the fact somebody who loves his country has had to flee to protect their family says it all really.
He never attacked refuges, he had his opinion but never physically harmed anyone in yet to believe.
