President Trump’s Brother Robert Hospitalized In New York

President Trump’s younger brother Robert Trump has been hospitalized in New York and is “very ill”, ABC News reports.

The details of his condition aren’t yet publicly known, but sources say he has fallen “very ill”.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed the hospitalization to ABC News, adding that the president and his brother “have a very good relationship” and that the president would be providing more details later.

President Trump plans to visit his brother in the hospital, an aide said. This is the second time the president’s younger brother has been hospitalized lately. He was hospitalized once in June.

Although he has largely remained out of the limelight during his brother’s political career, Robert Trump has staunchly supported his brother, unlike their sister, the former federal judge Maryanne Trump Barry, who was appointed by Ronald Reagan, though she recently retired. It was widely reported that Maryanne contributed to the book penned by her niece, Mary Trump, airing the family’s dirty laundry.

When asked by reporters whether he supported his brother during his initial primary run, Robert reportedly said he is “1,000 percent” behind him.
