In stark contrast to the ideological and political Left in the United States, world leaders from around the globe showered the Trumps with an outpouring of well-wishes and support after it was announced they had tested positive for COVID-19.

From the United Kingdom to Israel, Egypt to Germany to India, chiefs of state from all over the world issued statements and tweeted their best wishes for a speedy recovery to the President and his wife.

Egyptian President El Sisi tweeted, “My sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for US President Donald Trump and the First Lady, and for them to pass this stage quickly to return in full health and wellness to continue leading the efforts of the United States capable towards working to combat this virus worldwide in the interest of all humanity, may God protect our peoples and all peoples of the world.”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel issued an official statement that read, “I send Donald and Melania Trump all my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery from their COVID19 infection.”

And India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, extended his well-wishes as well, tweeting, “Wishing my friend @POTUS @realDonaldTrump and @FLOTUS a quick recovery and good health.”

These well-wishes come in stark contrast to the vitriol the Trumps have been subjected to by the Marxist-Progressives and far-Left Democrats here in the United States. The Washington Post went so far over the line that they, themselves, deleted a tweet that supposed, “Image what it would be like to never have to think about Trump again.”
