While Democrats are celebrating what they believe will eventually be a win for Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, many in the US House are furious about the position that have been placed in and the policy agenda that delivered them losses amongst their ranks.
During a three-hour phone call Thursday that featured high tensions and pointed talk, House Democrats took issue with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the Marxist-Progressives who have executed a hostile takeover of the Democrat Party.
Some House Democrats blamed Pelosi, who is already being targeted by Democrats for her electoral failures, for the losses they suffered insisting that talking points like defunding the police cost them the opportunity to advance their numbers in the chamber.
“No one should say ‘defund the police’ ever again,” Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), said passionately. “Nobody should be talking about Socialism.”
Spanberger continued saying perhaps the exact words that were on everyone else’s lips, saying if Democrats don’t change their messaging ahead of the 2020 midterm elections, “We will get f—king torn apart.”
Democratic lawmakers expressed frustration with party leaders over the loss of several congressional seats, saying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others oversold their prospects. The Democrats are angry & bitter reps of their constituents. https://t.co/98uw19My3V via @WSJ

An influential voice in the Democrat caucus, House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC), was equally critical of the party’s 2020 General Election messaging. “If we are going to run on Medicare for All, defund the police, socialized medicine, we’re not going to win,” he said, according to a leaked transcript of the call.
Meanwhile, almost if detached from the reality of the matter, Pelosi defended her handling of the party’s messaging saying, “This has been a life or death fight for the very fate of our democracy. We did not win every battle, but we did win the war. We held the House. Joe Biden is on a clear path to be the next president of the United States.”
She also said that anyone in the caucus that had an issue with her performance should speak with her directly, code for a political death warrant.
While Democrats still hold the majority in the House, Republicans defied the polls and are on track to pick up 7-12 seats, including a record number of new female members.
One reason rank and file Democrats may be angry with Pelosi is that in the event of a Contingent Election – where the election goes to the House to decide the presidency, the vote is grouped state by state and not by individual Representatives. Should it go to that level, which would be after the seating of a new Congress, Trump would likely win, receiving 27 votes to Biden’s 22 votes, with Biden receiving the two independents.
We may well be heading to a CONTINGENT ELECTION voted in the US house. For this the vote is grouped state by state NOT by individual state reps. In this context Trump will win 27-22 (2 indies). The Senate votes for the VP. Fight this fair you may win, fight like crooks you lose.
