At the genesis of every historical instance of oppression and totalitarianism there was the want to make a list of those who “didn’t fit in.” And while these lists are the things of despots and tin pot dictators, as we move to the reality of a Biden presidency, some on the Left have already started making their lists.
Members of the infamous Marxist-Progressive “Squad,” led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), have actually started logging in people to a list that would be utilized by a “Truth & Reconciliation Commission.”
A group formed by Emily Abrams, a former high-level staffer for failed Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg titled “The Trump Accountability Project,” is archiving the names of people who “elected, served, funded, supported, and represented” President Donald Trump.
This effort is supported by the likes of Ocasio-Cortez, radical Leftist Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post, Michael Simon – who was the analytics director of the 2008 Obama campaign, Hari Sevugan – former national press secretary of the DNC, among others.
“Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future,” the Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Friday.

“Yes, we are,” answered Simon, citing the Trump Accountability Project. “Every Administration staffer, campaign staffer, bundler, lawyer who represented them – everyone.”

The website states, “[W]e must never forget those who helped further the Trump agenda,” adding, “the world should never forget those who, when faced with a decision, chose to put their money, their time, and their reputations behind separating children from their families, encouraging racism and anti-Semitism, and negligently causing the unnecessary loss of life and economic devastation from our country’s failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Rubin, who has exposed herself a an extreme radical, tweeted, “Any R now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society. We have a list.”

On October 17, 2020, Robert Reich, a former advisor to Presidents Obama and Clinton, tweeted: “When this nightmare is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. It would erase Trump’s lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness, and name every official, politician, executive, and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.”

The creation of this “commission” is tantamount to political retaliation for the “crime” of “wrongthink,” an Orweallian concept that appears to be embraced by today’s radical Left.
Re-education camps were employed by the Communist Vietnamese following the end of the Vietnam War. Those communists – with government sanction – imprisoned over 300,000 former military officers, government workers and supporters of the former South Vietnamese as well as civilians. Some estimates put the number of inmates as high as 500,000 to 1 million.
Re-education camps – which were also employed by the Soviets, Nazis, and communist Chinese – was recognized by the global community as both a means of political revenge and a complex technique of repression and indoctrination.
