US INTEL DIRECTOR: China Using ‘Blackmail, Bribery’ to Control U.S. Members of Congress

John Ratcliffe, Xi, Joe Biden

While Democrats and Progressives have harped on Russian collusion and the threats that nation state allegedly posed to the country for four long years, President Trump has been focused on the very real threat of China.

Now, John Ratcliffe, the Director of National Intelligence, and someone who has intimate knowledge on the issue supplied to him by every US intelligence agency on a daily basis, says the threat China poses is even worse than was previously thought.

In a recent interview, Ratcliffe explained that Communist Chinese officials are using blackmail and bribery to target members of the US Congress to effect US legislation to their favor.

“They want laws and policies out of the United States that are favorable to China and what they are really trying to do is through blackmail, bribery, overt and covert operations, trying to make sure only laws that are favorable to China are passed,” Ratcliffe said.

This revelation legitimizes concerns over the Biden family’s lucrative relations with the Communist Chinese and Chinese businesses over the years. Those business relationships came to light before the election when Hunter Biden’s laptop data was revealed to the world.

“I was so troubled by what I saw from the position of Director of National Intelligence,” Ratcliffe continued, “that I briefed both the House and the Senate Intelligence Committees on this information, which they found surprising and troubling.”

Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden has stated he will take a more “cooperative” approach to the Communist Chinese should he attain the Oval Office.
