The far-left political action group American Bridge, which spent roughly $62 million in attacks ads against President Donald Trump and other Republican candidates in the 2020 election cycle, are launching efforts targeting the midterm elections and defending the Biden agenda.
The Super PAC plans to spend at least $100 million to maintain Democrat majorities in both the US House and the US Senate through the midterms.
The co-chair triad leading the organization are well-known in far left circles. The Super PAC’s hierarchy seats former Montana governor Steve Bullock, former Democrat National Committee chair Tom Perez, and former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards as co-chairs.
The three will join former Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick, who took a position as advisor to the group in 2020, and cofounders Bradley Beychok and David Brock, who famously ran a series of organizations aimed at aiding failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016, and started the anti-conservative website Media Matters.

Beychok, the president of American Bridge will step down to become a senior advisor later this month. Beychok previously served as president of David Brock’s Media Matters for America.
“In 2022, Democratic fortunes are going to sink or swim on Biden’s success, so we want to engage on that front from the outset,” Beychok said. “Biden’s policies are going to impact American families. Our job is to make sure that those impacts are seen and heard by voters starting now.”
Beychok will be making way for Jessica Floyd, the managing director of campaigns for the Hub Project, a network of far left election activists. Floyd will take over as president of American Bridge on March 1.
At the Hub Project, Floyd administered roughly $30 million in expenditures to defeat Republicans in Congress in 2018. She previously worked for the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee.

The American Bridge PAC has slated a “donors conference” for March of this year. This conference mimics the high-roller introductory conferences hosted by George Soros’ Open Society Foundation meant to milk the attendees for operational funds.
The American Bridge PAC conference is expected to draw on a group of approximately 750 high-dollar donors with the goal of raising $125 million over the campaign cycle.
During the 2020 election cycle, American Bridge PAC diversified from its roots as a nexus for opposition research on Republican candidates and campaigns to piloting major advertising efforts in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Their targets in those states were working-class White voters.
The PAC also spent heavily in the twin Georgia Senate runoff elections.
President Biden won all three of the states American Bridge blanketed with their Democrat narratives, with the possible aid of alleged voter fraud. Each of those states sided with Trump in 2016. Democrats won both the Georgia Senate seats.
“With a unified Democratic government and a divided Republican Party, we’re doubling down on our efforts to grow Democratic electoral power and build on our momentum heading into 2022 and beyond,” Brock said in a statement.
