A billboard for Christian Aid Ministries was vandalized with support for Planned Parenthood in Mississippi.
The billboard originally read “Worried? JESUS offers security,” with the phone number for the ministry.
The vandals changed the message to “Worried? Planned Parenthood offers abortions.”
“The alteration was carried out by the Activist Art Collective, INDECLINE and is in direct response to lawmakers throughout the South who continue their attempts to overturn Roe v. Wade. The collective also has immediate plans to turn the imagery from the vandalized billboard into an NFT and auction it off with proceeds going to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund,” the vandals wrote in a press release.
The press release also included photos of them doing the vandalism.
Christian Aid Ministries does charity work helping impoverished people around the world.
The ministry operates medical clinics in Haiti and Nicaragua. They also distribute food, clothing, medicines, and seeds to people in impoverished nations. They have also been known to help people in the US rebuild after natural disasters, build churches and provide alternative places of employment for conscientious objectors to serve should the U.S. activate a military draft.
