UK: Anti-White BLM Activist Sasha Johnson Shot by Black Men in Gang-Related Incident

Sasha Johnson, a radical anti-white leader of the BLM movement, is in hospital after being shot by four black men in a gang-related incident in London.

Johnson, 27, a prominent figure in the British BLM movement, and leader of the “black-led” Taking The Initiative Party, was shot in the head while attending a house party in Peckham on later Sunday morning. Police confirmed that 4 black men entered the garden of the house and “discharged a firearm,” with one other man in his 20s suffering a stab wound. Johnson is currently in hospital in critical condition.

“Black activists like Sasha receive death threats DAILY,” the official BLM Twitter account said. “As a black woman and activist, her life has been under scrutiny and attack from the start,” they added, implying that Johnson was shot because of her radical communist activism. Diane Abbott, the Labour MP, also suggested that she had been targeted because she “stood up for racial justice.”

However, the police denied these reports. “We are aware of Sasha’s involvement in the Black Lives Matter movement in the UK and I understand the concern this will cause to some communities – however, I wish to stress that at this time there is nothing to suggest Sasha was the victim of a targeted attack,” said Alison Heydari of the Metropolitan Police. “We are also not aware of any reports of threats made against [Johnson] prior to this incident,” she added, despite the claims of BLM.

Friends of Johnson also suggested that this was a gang-involved shooting. “There was a rival gang that may have heard about someone being at that party that they didn’t quite feel comfortable with… and so they resorted to…. shooting into the garden and one of those shots obviously hit Sasha Johnson, but I don’t believe she was the intended victim,” said Imarn Ayton to the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire.

Iain Dale of LBC radio took on Abbott for her tweets on his show. “Haven’t you actually inflamed racial divides by tweeting something when you haven’t done your homework?” Dale asked her. “If it’s a gangland killing… but just by plainly linking it to racial justice, you’re creating a division there!”

Johnson came to attention last year, after she verbally attacked a black British interviewer who did not believe that the UK was an institutionally racist country, calling him a “coon”, and seemingly threatening him with violence. In January, Johnson was arrested by police for breaching coronavirus regulations during a protest.
