Stacey Abrams has ties to the highest tier of the Democratic machine in the United States: John Podesta and his Center for American Progress, which he founded.
The Center for American Progress is a 501(c)(3) “nonpartisan,” nonprofit “charity” with a whopping $48 million in gross receipts for 2019.
This entity and the hundreds like it are absolutely not ‘nonpartisan’ but no one is willing to point this out and address it. The IRS is the entity that provides for this classification and does nothing. The Republican Party does nothing like the nothing that they do for anything else that is illegitimate. Republicans are like ostriches hiding their heads in the sand – don’t see anything here.
Stacey Abrams is on the Center for American Progress board of directors with John Podesta, its Audit Committee Chair. Also on the board are Senator Tom Daschle, President, and progressive billionaire Tom Steyer. The entity claims its mission is as follows: P. 1 Mission: “To shape the national policy debate and transform progressive concepts into policy.”
We know enough by now to realize that when a powerful, well-funded Democratic nonprofit, like a John Podesta-founded outfit, uses the word “progressive” they really mean socialist.
How did this obvious far-left progressive entity evolve? It started back in 20o2:
Investigative journalist Robert Dreyfuss wrote in the March 1, 2004 edition of The Nation: “The idea for the Center [CAP] began with discussions in 2002 between [Morton] Halperin and George Soros, the billionaire investor.… Halperin, who heads the office of Soros’ Open Society Institute, brought [former Clinton chief of staff] John Podesta into the discussion, and beginning in late 2002 Halperin and Podesta circulated a series of papers to funders.” The Capital Research Center reports that Podesta eagerly “took on the project of creating a new laboratory for liberalism.”
The fact that Abrams is on the Board of the Center for American progress tells you that she has reached the highest of the corrupt pyramid of Democrat politics. She was added to the group in 2018.
Abrams is also a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations, where she serves on the Subcommittee on Diversity.
It’s likely that Abrams was right in the middle of all the money flowing around Georgia before the election. We know she had a firm that benefitted greatly from the hiring of ACLU-connected individuals, many of whom were also BLM supporters, through her own personnel firm.
Abrams may have also been part of the distribution of Zuckerbucks in Georgia a few weeks before the election. Breitbart reported:
The Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted to accept a $6.3 million grant from the Mark-Zuckerberg funded Center for Technology and Civic Life “Safe Elections” project at a September 2, 2020 board meeting. It proceeded without asking a single question about the name of the group providing the funding, the origin of the funding, or the details of what the funding would be used for…
…Later in that meeting, Fulton County Elections Director Richard Barron told the Fulton County Board of Commissioners how he was able to secure the grant for the county, but failed to mention the name of the funding group–CTCL–or the fact they had only one day earlier, on September 1, received a $250 million donation from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, to fund the Fulton County grant.
“I went this summer and sought some grant funding, which the BOC approved today for over $6.3 million, and we’ve also received $5 million in COVID funding. And then with the $3.5 million soundings request today, that totals $14.5 million more in additional investments for we’re going to be — we were able to secure a lot of new polling places for, if we clean them afterwards, we got tech-support at all voting locations, postage and absentee ballots that we have to mail out,” Barron told the Fulton County Board of Commissioners at their September 2, 2020 board meeting.
Here are the summary budget details of the proposal Baron sent to the CTCL on August 18, which they accepted and the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved on September 2:
-
Absentee Ballot Assembly and Processing Equipment $1,448,026
-
Early Voting Sites and Ballot Drop-off Options $937,710
-
In-person Voting at Polling Places on Election Day $3,923,700
-
Total $6,309,436
Stacey Abrams was in the middle of the 2020 Election in Georgia. There was lots of money flowing around at that time. And, she’s close to John Podesta as well. Why is this no surprise?
