New Mexico Democrat Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has a history of being accused of grabbing men’s crotches. Lujan Grisham’s campaign infamously paid a $62,500 settlement to her former campaign staffer James Hallinan after Hallinan accused the governor of grabbing his crotch after pouring water on it in a professional setting.
Lujan Grisham denied the claim but said that she settled because she was focused on the “pandemic.” Now, NATIONAL FILE has unearthed video evidence of another allegation from years ago accusing Lujan Grisham of similar behavior.
A man named Eddie Dehart stated in a video (presented below) that he felt Lujuan Grisham was a “hypocrite” for speaking out in defense of Christine Blasey Ford, Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser. Dehart told his story, stating, “In 2005, we have a party at my girlfriend’s house. It was an artisan party to showcase some art in Santa Fe and help the artists out to sell their products…During the game, it was Michelle’s shot. And she walked around the pool table, and walked by me. When she walked by me she grabbed my crotch.” He said that Lujan Grisham exclaimed to his girlfriend that “you have a man here.” (READ MORE: New Mexico Governor Will Appoint Czar of ‘Racial Justice’ Council to Pay for ‘Original Sin’ of Slavery)
“Michelle was asked to leave the party,” Eddie Dehart said. “I didn’t do nothing to provoke it.” The man said that Lujan Grisham’s conduct led to a rift with his girlfriend. “Michelle’s drunkenness and her touchy hands ended up breaking us up in the long run.”
Grisham previously paid $62,000 to settle similar accusations:
New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, has paid out at least $62.5K to a male staffer who accused her of an alleged sexual assault, by grabbing his crotch and laughing at him.
Campaign finance documents filed on Monday revealed that Governor Lujan Grisham’s campaign paid the money in various installments to a law firm on behalf of James Hallinan, a staffer who had previously worked for Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, during her campaign to take the New Mexico governorship back in 2018. The payments have been provided in five monthly installments of $12,500, from November last year to March, listed as “legal expenses.” It is not clear if there are any more payments to come.
Around a year after he left Lujan Grisham’s campaign, Hallinan claimed on Twitter that Lujan Grisham had sexually assaulted him. He alleged that the then-congresswoman had poured a bottle of water on his crotch, and then grabbed his genitals in front of other staffers who were watching the situation unfold, and then proceeded to laugh at him.
