Five members of the Munn family were arrested by federal law enforcement on Tuesday over charges related to their non-violent tour of the Capitol building on January 6. This comes as the federal government continues to remain largely silent on reports regarding the presence of undercover federal law enforcement within the pro-Trump crowd that day.
Kristi Munn, Tom Munn, Dawn Munn, Josh Munn and Kayli Munn were arrested on Tuesday and are now facing four federal charges after it was revealed that they had entered the Capitol building on January 6 through a broken window, after traveling nearly 1,600 miles in a span of 24 hours in order to attend the protest. The family had also brought an unidentified minor inside the building. The child has not faced charges, but remains parentless and without a family as a result of the arrests.
The Munn family is the largest family to be arrested out of the more than 530 arrests made so far from the wide-scale federal government investigation of January 6. According to a report by Gateway Pundit, “the entire Munn family entered the Capitol through a broken window, took a brief tour, destroyed NOTHING and didn’t harm anyone. The family literally touched nothing inside the Capitol but the feds arrested and charged them anyway.”
The FBI alleges that they were tipped off to screenshots and posts from Kristi Munn on Snapchat and Facebook indicating that the family had entered the Capitol building. Federal law enforcement had also interviewed some of the children’s teachers and had obtained Munn family private messages with their friends. No members of the Munn family have entered plea deals, according to a report by ABC News, which claims the family was facing charges due to their “alleged illegal entry and alleged disorderly conduct.”
This comes after the presence of undercover federal law enforcement within the pro-Trump crowd on January 6 was revealed by National File, raising questions concerning the full extent of federal involvement during the events that took place that day.
The prevalence of what looks to be black-clad paramilitary-appearing individuals participating in violence on January 6 has made waves online. Earlier this week, National File obtained exclusive footage and photos of the assault on the doors of the Capitol building leading to the inaugural stage, depicting individuals who were potentially working alongside or for the FBI, local police, or federal law enforcement observing, instigating, and participating in the violence on January 6. Gateway Pundit has released a video depicting what appears to be suspicious “black-clad military operatives” being the first to go up the stairs of the Capitol building. Their report also details Bobby Powell’s viral video that exposed two likely FBI informants who were filmed “breaking windows, attacking the building, and even pushing people inside the US Capitol.” The individuals depicted in these videos appear to look strikingly similar to the individuals depicted in the exclusive photos and videos released by National File.
Revolver News, along with Gateway Pundit and National File, has been diligently reporting on questions surrounding the full extent of the federal government’s involvement on January 6. In a report regarding the suspicious circumstances surrounding “unindicted co-conspirators,” similarities between the events of January 6 and the attempted kidnapping of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer were revealed. According to a federal court filing made by one of the defendants involved in the Michigan case on Monday – 9 months after the fact – it was revealed that the FBI had employed at least 12 undercover informants to infiltrate militia groups involved in the alleged kidnapping conspiracy, fueling concerns among observers that the “plot” may have been the result of entrapment by the FBI, as National File reported.
Half of the defendants from both cases combined were members of the Wolverine Watchmen, a group associated with the Three Percenters – one of the same militia groups blamed for storming of the Capitol building in Washington DC on January 6, as was pointed out by Revolver News: “And, as the cherry on top, what if we told you that the director of the Detroit FBI Field Office, who oversaw the infiltration operation of the Michigan Plot, was subsequently granted a highly coincidental promotion to the D.C. office, where he is now the lead FBI agent for all 1/6 cases?”
National File reporter Andrew White, who has been extensively investigating the suspicious circumstances of January 6, went on National File TV with National File Editor-In-Chief Tom Pappert to discuss recent developments regarding the Michigan case, the FBI’s history of infiltrating groups and participating in terror plots, as well as undercover federal involvement on January 6 – detailing the facts laid out in his reports.
