TRUMP: Afghanistan Withdrawal Concept Is Not The Issue, ‘It’s The Grossly Incompetent Way We Left!’

President Donald Trump has issued a statement in response to Joe Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal speech, noting that the issue does not lie within the concept of the troop withdrawal, but rather it lies within the manner of how the United States withdrew at Biden’s direction, which he called “incompetent.”

Shortly after Joe Biden issued a 18 minute speech attempting to justify his widely criticized and problematic Afghanistan withdrawal that has resulted in American lives being placed in danger at the hands of the Taliban, President Donald Trump issued a statement in response. “It’s not that we left Afghanistan. It’s the grossly incompetent way we left!”

Biden’s short speech was centered on the concept of withdrawing US forces from Afghanistan after 20 years of fighting, which he declared that he supports, despite the criticism. However, Biden only lightly touched on the outright chaos that has ensued throughout Afghanistan as a result of his sudden withdrawal of US forces.

“I was asked to authorize and I did 6,000 us troops to deploy to Afghanistan for the purpose of assisting the departure of us and allied civilian personnel from Afghanistan, and to evacuate our Afghan allies and vulnerable Afghans to safety outside of Afghanistan, our troops are working to secure the airfield and ensure continued operation of both the civilian and military flights we’re taking over our traffic control,” Biden said, adding that “over the coming days, we intend to transport out thousands of American citizens. Who’ve been living and working in Afghanistan,” as they are in grave danger due to the ongoing violent Taliban takeover.

President Trump has previously said that such events would not have occurred if he was still in charge. “The corrupt Presidential Election of 2020 got us here. Never would have happened if I were President!” President Trump said in a statement. “Can anyone even imagine taking out our Military before evacuating civilians and others who have been good to our Country and who should be allowed to seek refuge? In addition, these people left topflight and highly sophisticated equipment. Who can believe such incompetence? Under my Administration, all civilians and equipment would have been removed.”

Biden refused to take any questions after the short speech and is now heading back to Camp David to continue his vacation.
