The Premier of Queensland Annastacia Palaszczuk announced that a new camp will be built at Wellcamp Airport near Toowoomba. “As we contend with the dangerous Delta variant, we need fit-for-purpose quarantine facilities.”

As Australia experiences what has been described as one of the most authoritarian military lockdowns due to COVID-19, the Premier of Queensland has been calling for the government to build more “quarantine facilities” that resemble modern concentration camps.

Annastacia Palaszczuk said in a tweet that a new quarantine facility will be built at Wellcamp Airport near Toowoomba. “As we contend with the dangerous Delta variant, we need fit-for-purpose quarantine facilities,” tweeted Palaszczuk. That’s why we’ve taken decisive action to build this new 1000-bed, dedicated facility under a joint agreement between the Palaszczuk Government and the landowner @Wagner_Corp. Wagner Corporation expects the first stage of the facility to be delivered for use by the end of 2021.”

As of the last 24 hours, the Premier has put out a series of statements calling for regional quarantine facilities throughout Australia. “It’s a no-brainer,” said Palaszczuk. “We urgently need fit-for-purpose quarantine facilities to keep us safe. It means we can manage arrivals into Queensland more safely and reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading in our community.”

The Wellcamp Airport COVID-19 camp will be modeled off a similar camp in Howard Springs. Australian residents have received a letter from the Australian Government detailing how an “accommodation facility” will be used for mandatory quarantine “accommodation” called the Centre for National Resilience, Melbourne (the Centre) built at 135 Donnybrook Road. The first 500 beds will be completed by the end of 2021 and the facility will be equipped to increase to 3000.

The Australian media, widely criticized for its recent dystopian and orwellian approach to the government’s strict COVID-19 response, is putting out articles claiming that life within these camps is “like a holiday.” (VIDEO: Australian Broadcasting Corporation Airs Weird Satanic Scene During Botched Broadcast)
