Texas Governor Greg Abbott deployed troopers from the Department of Public Safety and the National Guard to stop the illegal aliens from flooding the border in Del Rio.
Abbott said the National Guard helped the Texas Department of Public Safety build a barricade along the border in the Del Rio area amid a surge of nearly 15,000 illegals.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is in full force along the border around the Del Rio area.
They have built a barricade with their squad cars and State Troopers.
The National Guard is working with them to secure the border.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin said it appears the illegal alien crossings at the Rio Grande have come to a halt…for now.
