Kyle Rittenhouse broke down in tears and began hyperventilating when he took the stand on Wednesday. The Kenosha teenager is standing trial for murder after shooting and killing two rioters who were attempting to kill him. LeBron James later attacked Rittenhouse on Twitter and accused him of faking tears.
“What tears????? I didn’t see one,” James wrote in a tweet. “Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”

James received intense backlash regarding his comments from a multitude of fans, pundits and politicians, including U.S. Senate candidate JD Vance, who is seeking the GOP nomination in the basketball player’s home state of Ohio.
“Here’s a wealthy grown man making fun of a kid, as that kid recounted being attacked. Lebron is one of the most vile public figures in our country,” Vance wrote in a viral tweet. “Total coward.”

“Kyle Rittenhouse is more of a man than Lebron James will ever be,” said conservative author Nick Adams. Others pointed out Lebron’s lack of concern regarding the infamous hate hoax involving Jussie Smollett and subsequent crocodile tears, as well as the basketball star’s repeated silence regarding Chinese human rights abuses.
“This is from the same man that promoted the Jussie Smollett hoax so he must be a professional at spotting authenticity!” wrote YouTuber Luke Rudkowski. According to a June study, LeBron James was found to be the most hated basketball player in the United States.

Lebron James has repeatedly used his near unrivaled platform to advocate for far left groups, such as the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a group that bailed out rioters during the George Floyd riots in 2020. James has long been a vocal supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and has campaigned for Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
The Rittenhouse tweet is also not the first time James has weighed in on a similar issue. In April, James infamously tweeted “you’re next” in reference to a Columbus Police officer who shot a woman who was about to stab somebody. Bodycam and cellphone footage clearly showed that the woman was armed with a knife, but it took place just after the Chauvin verdict, prompting James’ tweet. He later deleted the tweet after intense backlash.
James is not the only high profile leftist who has condemned Rittenhouse despite numerous witnesses and pieces of video evidence that have corroborated the teenager’s claim of self defense. “Lock up Kyle Rittenhouse and throw away the key,” Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) wrote in a tweet. Jeffries, like James, is a staunch advocate of the “abolish the police” and BLM movements. He has long called for an end to “mass incarceration.”
BLM radicals have repeatedly slandered Kyle Rittenhouse as a “white supremacist” without any evidence. Rep. Ayanna Pressly (D-MA) referred to Rittenhouse as a “white supremacist domestic terrorist,” in a tweet not long after the August 2020 shootings. She referred to those who were shot, including convicted pedophile Joseph Rosenbaum, as “people who had assembled to affirm the value, dignity, and worth of Black lives.”
A 17 year old white supremacist domestic terrorist drove across state lines, armed with an AR 15.
He shot and killed 2 people who had assembled to affirm the value, dignity, and worth of Black lives.
Fix your damn headlines.
