Joe Biden is a legend in his own mind.
Joe Biden on Tuesday traveled to Woodstock, New Hampshire to promote the ‘bipartisan’ infrastructure bill he signed into law this week.
Biden signed the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill into law on Monday.
Joe Biden was talking about the importance of bridges when he completely made up a story about his house burning down with Jill inside.
“And I know, having had a house burn down with my wife in it, she got out safely, God willing, but having a significant portion of it burn, I could tell 10 minutes makes a hell of a difference. It makes a big difference,” Biden said.

It turns out the house didn’t burn down.
In 2004 there was a small kitchen fire (who hasn’t had a small kitchen fire?) – Jill reported the small fire and it was under control in 20 minutes.
Biden today: We "had a house burn down with my wife in it. She got out safely."
2004 AP news report: "A small fire that was contained to the kitchen….Jill reported the fire…The fire was under control in 20 minutes.'' https://t.co/2VcAebg9r5— Glenn Kessler (@GlennKesslerWP) November 16, 2021
