Russian President Vlad Putin announced on Tuesday the country will have a new hypersonic missile soon.
The Russian leader added that the latest Zircon hypersonic missiles will enter official use next year.
Russia recently test-fired a Hypersonic Zircon missile over the White Sea hitting a target 400 kilometers away.

Russia recently started mass producing the “unstoppable” Zircon hypsersonic missiles.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that his country will soon have a new hypersonic missile.
Speaking virtually at a plenary session of VTB Capital Investment Forum ‘Russia Calling!’ 2021, Putin noted the new missile will have a maximum speed of Mach 9.
The comments come a day after Russia’s latest test of its hypersonic cruise missiles dubbed Zircon. Moscow called the test successful, adding the missile fired from the Admiral Gorshkov warship in the White Sea hit its target which was over 400 kilometers away. Earlier, Putin stated that he expects Zircon missiles to enter official use in 2022.
