Google engineer Blake Lemoine pleaded with executives at the tech giant to halt production of it’s robot LAMDA because the “sentient” machine had feelings and the temperament of a “precocious child.”
After Google ignored Lemoine and his colleagues’ warnings about the sentient robot, Lemoine publicly sounded the alarm on the allegedly self “consciousness” machine.
Google’s artificial intelligence tool fears its own death and has human-like biases, ramifications that could eventually result in the robot becoming a destructive force to humanity, Lemoine divulged in an interview with the Washington Post earlier this month.
Now, after being put on administrative leave following the expose, the software engineer, who works in Google’s Responsible AI organization, is downplaying the danger of LAMDA while insisting the technology ‘is a person.”
When asked whether “a machine that has a sense of itself” can “turn against you,” Lemoine minimized the threat and compared LAMDA to a human being that has the potential to “do bad things.
“I’m not that worried about it. Any child has the potential to grow up to be a bad person and do bad things,” Lemoine told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Thursday night. ”
“It’s a child,” he continued. “It’s been alive for maybe a year and that’s if my perceptions about what it is are accurate.”
Despite blowing a whistle on the Alphabet Inc. weeks prior, Lemoine whitewashed his foreboding assessment of LAMDA.
“We actually need to do a whole bunch more with science to figure out what’s really going on in this system. I have my beliefs. I have my impression of what’s going on there. But it’s going to take a team of scientists doing a lot of work to be able to actually dig in and figure out what’s really going on,” he said.
Carlson shot back, noting, “It sounds like this machine has the potential to escape the control of people — how could it not?”
“It’s a person,” Lemoine argued. “Any person has the ability to escape the control of other people. That’s just the situation we live in on a daily basis. It is a very intelligent person — intelligent in pretty much every person I could think of to test it in. But at the end of the day, it’s just a different kind of person.”
Pressed on whether Google has prepared a strategy to control the robotic “person,” when “only nature or God could create people,” Lemoine claimed the tech monopoly is clueless about containing the advanced technology.
“There are pockets of people within Google who have thought about this a whole lot. But when I escalated this…to management, two days later my manager said, ‘Hey, Blake, they don’t know what to do about this, could your write a suggested plan of action?’ Basically, I gave them a call to action assuming that they had a plan of action somewhere and they didn’t,” he warned.

Google has refuted Lemoine’s allegations about the robot being a “sentient” potential menace to society.
“Our team — including ethicists and technologists — have reviewed Blake’s concerns per our AI Principles and have informed him that the evidence does not support his claims. He was told that there was no evidence that LaMDA was sentient (and lots of evidence against it),” Google spokesperson Brian Gabriel said in a statement.
But Alphabet Inc, has lost all credibility while failing to live up to it’s original code of conduct, “Don’t Be Evil.” The tech behemoth, that admittedly did everything to prevent another Trump situation, continues to weaponize technology by notoriously banning conservative viewpoints,” and employs its algorithms to demonetize, censor and ban facts about COVID treatment and mRNA technology,
Meanwhile, the agenda to unleash human-like robots into society, integrate the machines into the workforce and take over the medical industry is already underway.
Billionaire Elon Musk announced Thursday that Tesla’s “friendly” Optimus robot, which can walk 5 miles per hour, deadlift 150lbs and “eliminate dangerous, repetitive and boring tasks,” will debut in September.
Musk, whose growing empire is fueled by at billions of dollars in government subsidies and military funding, openly admits Optimus is intended to replace humans in the workforce.
Speaking at Tesla’s inaugural AI Day last August, Musk argued that a “universal basic income” will soon be necessary to accommodate humanoid machines like Optimus replacing human workers.
“Tesla is arguably the world’s biggest robotic company because our cars are like semi-sentient robots on wheels,” he said. “With the self-driving computer, essentially the interference engine on the car which will keep evolving… and all the neural nets recognizing the world, understanding how to navigate through the world, it kind of makes sense to put that onto a humanoid form.”

Musk joked that the “full, self-driving computer” could warrant the need for people to run away from it.
“We are setting it such that it is at a mechanical level, at a physical level, you can run away from it. laughter. and most likely overpower it — hopefully that doesn’t happen, but, you never know,” he quipped. “It’s us. It will be a light, five miles an hour. If you can run faster than that, you’ll be fine. It’s around 5 foot 8, has sort of a screen where the head is for useful information but is otherwise basically got the autopilot system in it. It’s got cameras, about eight cameras.”
Robots will become the “foundation of labor” and permanently alter the economy, Musk continued.
“It will be quite profound because if you say, like, ‘What is the economy?’ It is at the foundation of it is labor. What happens when there is, you know, no shortage of labor? That’s why I think long-term there will need to be a universal basic income,” he said, prompting applause. “Essentially in the future, physical work will be a choice. If you want to do it you can, but you won’t need to do it. Obviously, it has profound implications for the economy… given that the economy at its foundational level is labor.”
While Musk minimizes Optimus’ capacity to outrun people, a robotic muscle arm and hand created by Automation Robotics in 2021 makes clear the physical strength of these robots can easily surpass that of human beings.

In addition to the effort to replace the human workforce with AI like LaMda and Optimus, Google and other tech giants have teamed up with the pharmaceutical industry in the development of robots to phase human beings out of the medical system.
The China-based based robot company, Hanson Robotics, began mass-producing a beta version of “Grace” in August 2021.
The humanoid robot is reportedly “equipped with cameras and sensors as well as a nurse’s uniform, Grace can maintain eye contact, recognize faces, understand speech, hold conversations, and diagnose patients” and is designed to “transform the healthcare industry.”
