Republican Congressional candidate Cory Mills has come under attack from Democrats and Leftist media groups over his support of the police.
Mills is a small business owner whose company played an instrumental role in supporting the police force during the Black Lives Matters riots occurring across the country last Summer.
His company, which manufactures riot gear and tear gas, ensured police were able to effectively disperse violent Antifa members and BLM rioters.
In a recent campaign video, Mills explains how he started his business after serving in the U.S. Army.
Mills’ products were utilized by police to prevent Leftist groups from violently destroying metropolitan areas nationwide.
The Florida candidate said the “liberal media’s crying about” his Conservative activism and he responded by threatening to tear-gas the media in return.
“If the media wants to shed some real tears, I can help them with that,” a smiling Mills said while holding a tear-gas canister launcher.

BLM democrats in Congress are “investigating” us for providing riot control gear to law enforcement around the country to stop the riots in 2020.
Sadly for them, we are really proud of what we do.
If they want to cry about it, we can help them shed real tears.

Congressional Democrats have begun to target Mills, who is leading the polls in Florida’s 7th District, where Democrat Rep. Stephanie Murphy is retiring.
BLM activist and U.S. Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) is targeting Mills and his company explicitly because of his pro-police work during the BLM riots.
“For a protest to truly be a right, we must ensure that we are never again met with weapons of war on our streets,” Bush complained in a memo.
“Tear gas is not an inconvenience, it is a weapon of war,” she added before mentioning how she encountered tear gas as she began to lead anti-police protests back in 2014.
“I know what it’s like to have tear gas fired at me—my eyes, skin, and lungs burning in the fog of that horrific weapon.”
However, Bush’s cries about tear gas and other riot-prevention tactics used by the police went farther than just social media.
Bush, along with the help of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY), and other House Democrats, established subcommittee investigations into Millls’ company due to its manufacturing of tear gas.
AOC and Bush called for a complete ban on tear gas, labeling it “unregulated, harmful to humans, and lines the pockets of tear gas manufacturers.”
Speaking exclusively to National File, Mills rebutted AOC and Bush’s talking points.
“I double down on my support for our brave men and women in blue and I’m a firm believer in the ideas of funding and defending our law enforcement officers – not defunding and dismantling, as the Left would have it,” he said.
Mills praised tear gas as an effective and conservative way for police to maintain law and order.
“Our law enforcement officers’ ability to disperse violent crowds, or to protect the lives of others, protect businesses, protect homes, with the utilization of a less-lethal tool, in my opinion, should not be vilified, but actually applauded.”
The Republican candidate told National File his company has provided over 200 law enforcement agencies with tear gas and riot gear to “help protect our federal buildings and protect our streets without having to resort to deadly force.”
