National Right To Life Website Targeted In Cyberattack

Last Updated on July 1, 2022

A major pro-life activism group may have been the target of a cyberattack.

The National Right To Life’s website has been offline since Monday.

“We apologize to those of you who have attempted to reach our web page today — we have been under constant cyberattack by those who most likely promote and profit from abortion. The truth will always prevail,” the National Right to Life tweeted on Monday.

It seems far-Left activists are pushing back against the pro-life movement in unique ways now that Roe v. Wade was overturned.

One Twitter user, Lorian Synaro, who claims to be a part of the progressive group of hackers Anonymous, announced the group would begin attacking pro-life organizations “daily.”

Synaro called the SCOTUS’ decision to overturn Roe v. Wade “dangerous and unacceptable,” claiming it “puts millions of American women at risk,” and “is the direct result of the rise of reactionary and ultra-conservative forces in all spheres of society.”

The Twitter user, bearing nearly 46 thousand followers, then called for “revenge” through the form of cyberattacks.

Anti-choice organizations will be attacked daily to ensure they have no safe space on the internet. We want revenge on behalf the millions of women whose life will be impacted by the decision of the supreme court. We want revenge. We want #JanesRevenge! #OpJane reengaged.,” Synaro tweeted.

Synaro celebrated on Twitter when the National Right to Life’s website first went offline. “National Right to Life, one of the largest anti-choice organizations in the US has been taken offline. This is just the beginning. We want Jane’s revenge!,” the account posted.

One Twitter account with the handle @YourAnonNews, boasting over 7.9 million followers, also called for “war” over the recent SCOTUS decision. “The SCOTUS is nothing but the new arm of a hack Congress. When states attempt to arrest people who perform or receive abortion services in other states, the govs where it is legal should not hesitate to arrest any officials attempting to enforce such laws. It’s war. Fight it.,” the Anonymous-associated account tweeted.
