Recent FEC Reports Show George Soros Donated $1 Million To Beto O’Rourke Gubernatorial Campaign

Far-Left globalist billionaire George Soros donated $1 million to Beto O’Rourke’s Texas gubernatorial campaign, recent Texas Ethics Commission reports show.

A spokesperson from the O’Rourke campaign confirmed the donation. The 91-year-old Soros made his campaign donation the day before the Supreme Court dropped its ruling which overturned Roe v. Wade, which had established abortion to be a constitutional right.

O’Rourke’s campaign has been heavily supported by non-Texan residents. Nearly half of O’Rourke’s $27.6 million in donations came from out-of-state donors.

O’Rourke outraised Abbott by a whopping $2.7 million through fundraising from late February through June.

Through his Open Society Foundations, Soros has donated $18 billion to various criminal justice, education, public health, and independent media companies across six continents.

Earlier in June, National File reported how Soros fundraised a 60 million dollar deal to purchase 18 Spanish radio stations across 10 cities:

A group of Hispanic investors with backing from leftist billionaire George Soros have purchased 18 radio stations across 10 cities. The deal was worth roughly $60 million.

The group was founded by former Obama staffer Stephanie Valencia and campaign veteran Jess Morales Rocketto, who worked for both former President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Acquired stations will now form the Latino Media Network (LMN) and will be led by Valencia. LMN stated it has secured financing from “leading Latino investors” as well as Lakestar Finance, an investment group associated with George Soros.

Before the 2022 election cycle, Soros donated over $125 million to a Leftist super PAC, hoping to boost the Democrat majority in November.

The Greg Abbott campaign bashed Beto O’Rourke over his Soros donation. “It’s no surprise Beto O’Rourke received a $1 million campaign contribution from billionaire George Soros, liberal Democrats’ favorite check writer, given they both support defunding our police, open borders and radical energy policies,” Mark Miner, an Abbott campaign spokesperson said in a statement.

According to a recent poll published by the University of Houston’s Hobby School of Public Affairs, incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott is crushing O’Rourke, outing him by 5 percent amongst likely voters.
