Former President Donald Trump hosted a rally in Youngstown, Ohio to throw his support behind a multitude of Republicans in the Buckeye State.

The entirety of Ohio’s Republican Trump-endorsed candidates, except Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine who was attending his grandchild’s sporting event, spoke at the event before the president.

Republican candidate J.R. Majewski, who is running in Ohio’s 9th District, spoke first at the event. The crowd erupted after Majewski, who has a military background involving nuclear energy, vowed to destroy the Green New Deal.

“My specialty is energy, nuclear energy. We have a serious chance to make America energy dominant again. And I’m proud to say that with my background, I’ll be the working member of Congress that’s gonna be the tip of the spear. And I’m gonna turn that green new deal brown like the turd it is,” Majewski said.

The lifelong Ohioan is facing off against Democrat Marcy Kaptur, who is the longest-serving woman in the House of Representatives history.

Rep. Jim Jordan was beloved by the large crowd. While Jordan was walking down the venue hallway, throngs of Ohio Republicans cheered him on. Rep. Jordan, who has represented Ohio in public office since 2007, encouraged Republicans to seize control of the country this November.

“The Left controls big media, the Left controls big tech, the Left controls big corporations, the Left now controls big sports, just watch the NBA, the Left controls Hollywood, the Left controls higher education, the Left controls the White House, the Left controls the House, the Left controls the Senate, but the  Left doesn’t control we the people and we the people have had it,” Rep. Jordan exclaimed, which fired up the crowd.

Ohio U.S. Senate candidate JD Vance was the star of the night next to Trump. Vance praised the impact that Ohio manufacturing has on the country and ripped into his Democrat opponent Tim Ryan for claiming to be a “reasonable moderate” and running “non-stop fraudulent” advertisements.

During Trump’s speech, the former President piled on with Vance against Tim Ryan. Trump described Ryan as an “anti-energy extremist” and predicted Vance will “clinch the Senate for Republicans.”

The former President went on to say “the radical Democrat Congress has turned our country into a sanctuary for dangerous criminals.” Trump reminded the crowd of Biden’s failed Afghanistan departure and noted the number of foreigners currently held in our country who may not love this nation.

Trump also assailed Biden for beginning to use up oil from strategic reserves filled up during the Trump administration. Trump suggested Biden is pulling from reserves to help his election chances.

The former president took a hit at House Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, describing him to be a “disgrace” before encouraging JD Vance to “do something about it.”
