Fox News reporter Peter Doocy stumped White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday.
Earlier Wednesday Joe Biden announced the release of 15 million barrels of oil from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
Joe Biden lashed out at oil companies during his remarks and demanded they increase oil production: “You’re sitting on record profits and we’re giving you more certainty so you can act now to increase oil production now.”
Biden called on oil companies to halt buybacks during a time of war.

Peter Doocy left Karine Jean-Pierre stuttering after he asked why the oil companies would listen to Joe Biden after he vowed to put them out of business.
“So, you’re asking oil companies to further lower gas prices. What makes you think they are going to listen to an administration that is ultimately trying to put them out of business?” Doocy said.
“How? How is the administration trying to put them out of business?” KJP said.

“Well, they produce fossil fuels and this President says he wants to end fossil fuel.” Doocy said.
KJP mumbled through her talking points and really had no answer.
