In an interview with Tucker Carlson of Fox News, Arizona Republican gubernatorial nominee, Kari Lake, stated she has completed confidence in a victorious outcome in her race against Democrat nominee, Katie Hobbs, the current Arizona Secretary of State.
“I feel 100% certain I’m going to win, the question is how big that win will be. Can you believe this? We still have 650,000 votes that have not been counted, and guess who these voters are? They’re the people who showed up on election day,” Lake stated emphatically.
Hobbs currently has 953,783 votes and 50.34% of the total while Lake has 90,716 votes and 49.66% of the total.
As secretary of state, Hobbs oversees elections for the Grand Canyon State, including her own.

Lake revealed in her TV appearance on Wednesday night that hundreds of thousands of voters physically brought their ballots to the polls on Tuesday.
“275,000 of them are people who brought their mail-in ballots to the polls on election day because they don’t trust the mail and they don’t trust the drop-boxes. Guess who those voters are? They’re our voters.” Lake said. “We’re only down by a few thousand voters right now. When those votes come in, I think we’re going to see a lot of liberal minds kind-of blowing up,” Lake said.
According to the Arizona Secretary of State website, the estimated total number of uncounted ballots sits at 619,012.
For comparison, the State of Florida, whose population is five times larger than Arizona’s, counted all votes and called all races on election night.
The campaign run by Hobbs has contrasted sharply with that of Lake’s. While Lake has been nearly omnipresent in the media, Hobbes has shied away from cameras, press conferences, and any debate against Lake.
