Elon Gets FACT CHECKED On His Own Tweet, Here’s Why

CEO of Twitter Elon Musk was just fact-checked on one of his own tweets.

Musk was fact-checked on a tweet dated November 7, 2022, which read “My commitment to free speech extends even to not banning the account following my plane, even though that is a direct personal safety risk.”

The description of the fact checked note read  “The implied account in this tweet is elonjet, which is currently banned.”

The fact check comes shortly after the Twitter account elonjet and other jet tracking accounts were permanently suspended from Twitter.

Elonjet tracked Elon Musk, and affiliated accounts would track Jeff Bezos and other high profile celebrities’ private jets.

In a series of tweets Elon explained why he suspended elonjet.

Musk stated “Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation. This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info.”

He then revealed his son,  “Was followed by a crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked car from moving & climbed onto hood.”

Musk would then conclude the series of tweets by saying he filed legal action against Jack Sweeney, the university student in charge of the account.

Previously, Musk offered Sweeney $5,000 to delete elonjet.
