“Moderate ” Republicans from the Tuesday Group have threatened to tank any House rules reforms if Kevin McCarthy is formally challenged for the Speaker position on January 3. Twenty current members of the Tuesday Group voted for the establishment of a January 6 Congressional Committee, while a handful of others voted to impeach Trump.
