The Gateway Pundit correspondent spoke with incoming Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, who was inaugurated Thursday morning following the questionable Midterm Election in Maricopa County, Pinal County, and likely other counties across the state.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Katie Hobbs, Kris Mayes, and others with suspicious election wins gave their inaugural addresses yesterday. After the speeches, Katie Hobbs was nowhere to be found, and a pool of media was held off by security until she was gone.

As we reported, after the speeches, Katie Hobbs was nowhere to be found, and a pool of media was held off by security until she was gone.
During the ceremony, Fontes went on a bizarre, Biden-Esque rant accusing Republicans who care about election integrity of threatening election officials. “domestic terrorism,” labeling them “anathema to the constitutional order.” He then stated, “honor and integrity will replace conspiracy and fascism.”
The Gateway Pundit reported on the massive voter disenfranchisement that occurred in Maricopa County and Pinal County’s 2022 Midterm Elections.
On Election Day in Maricopa County, over 50% of tabulators and printers failed the moment that polls opened, causing voters to be turned away from the polls and creating long wait times of four hours or more. According to cybersecurity expert Clay Parikh’s testimony, this was an intentional act aimed at disenfranchising Republican voters who turned out 3:1 for Trump-Endorsed candidates. Many of the thousands of voters disenfranchised by this catastrophe were forced to vote provisionally.
Fontes refused to call this a failure during our interview, claiming that it proved “you can’t counterfeit Maricopa County’s ballots,” and the system is “actually better than the system that people would expect.”
Election Director Scott Jarrett’s conflicting and dishonest sworn testimony in Kari Lake’s election trial states that this was caused by a ballot printer failure and that “it would have been a mistake.”
The recount in Pinal County found hundreds of new votes, heavily favoring Abe Hamadeh and likely other Republican candidates, whose races were not recounted.
This is a massive and concerning number of votes for a recount.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Abe Hamadeh filed a ‘Motion for New Trial’ in the Mohave County Superior Court on Tuesday after the recount in rural Pinal County brought the margin of victory down to 280 votes. A state judge announced Democrat Kris Mayes beat Republican Abe Hamadeh by 280 votes in the race for Arizona Attorney General on Thursday, December 29.
Katie Hobbs, and likely Kris Mayes, knew about this discrepancy in Pinal County but withheld the information in court. The Gateway Pundit reported that Hobbs’ lawyers asked to delay the recount results from being presented before Abe’s lawsuit against her and Kris Mayes was dismissed. Abe said Tuesday, “She had all the facts, she withheld this from the court, and she withheld this from me. So, we weren’t able to present any of this evidence.”
Fontes said in a recent interview, “You know, the single-digit differences are not unusual, but it is absolutely, it’s really problematic to see the number of ballots in Pinal County that were not tabulated.”
Unlike Kris Mayes, Adrian Fontes agreed to do an interview with Conradson. As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, Kris Mayes ran from Conradson, asking, “When did you and Katie Hobbs learn about the discrepancy in Pinal County’s recount?”
During this interview, Fontes claimed that those who question elections are “lying,” and “they don’t have the right to cast doubt on perfectly good elections without any evidence,” despite clear evidence that the 2022 General Election was compromised.
“We’re gonna fight vigorously against these folks because they don’t believe in your vote,” said Fontes. “I’m not going to apologize for calling a domestic terrorist a domestic terrorist, because that’s what they are.”
He then accused Conradson of “pretending like the people that went overseas to die for our right to vote, who volunteered to give their lives for our constitution like me, did it as some kind of a political game.” Fontes told Contradson to “check yourself against our democracy.”
Fontes served active duty in the Marine Corps from 1992 to 1996.
Arizona State Senator Sonny Borrelli, who served in the Marine Corps from 1977 – 1999, told The Gateway Pundit, “in the military, you get audited and inspected on just about everything. To have audits and inspections is not an insult to the apparatus. It’s to ensure the integrity of the system.”
Borrelli concluded, “as a veteran, we are duty and honor bound to ensure that these servicemen and women did not serve in vain.”
Fontes was escorted by his staff after he got triggered by a couple of questions, and he stormed off, refusing to answer to the failure of ballot printers on election day.
Watch the full interview below:
Conradson: You called many out here election deniers, conspiracy theorists, domestic terrorists. Don’t you think people have the right to question their elections when issues like Maricopa County, where the machines stopped working, and Pinal County, where you, yourself, said, It’s very troubling what happened with this recount?
Fontes: They don’t have the right to cast doubt on perfectly good elections without any evidence. They don’t have the right to lie.
If you don’t have real evidence of any kind of malfeasance or fraud, you’re lying, and you’re hurting our democracy. And there’s absolutely no reason in the world why I’m gonna back off because you’re attacking my democracy, and Democracy and the constitution that I was sworn to uphold and defend. You think that’s a game? And it’s not just politics. This is real, and we almost lost our democracy. We’re not gonna not on my watch. We’re not going to. We’re gonna fight vigorously against these folks because they don’t believe in your vote. They don’t believe in your neighbor and their ability to uphold their oath, an act of honor and integrity when they’re the ones running elections in every one of our counties. So you know what, I’m not going to apologize for calling a domestic terrorist a domestic terrorist, because that’s what they are.
Conradson: I understand what you’re saying it’s not a joke, but to many, the Maricopa County election was a joke, are you calling people…
Fontes: I’m trying to figure out why, when all that the Maricopa County election proved was
Conradson: 50% of machines failed on election day.
Fontes: Well, all that proved was that you can’t counterfeit Maricopa County’s ballots, even with their own printers with a bad setting. What it proved is that system that we built is actually better than the system that people would expect is what it proved.
Conradson: Why did that issue happen? Are you saying it’s okay that it happened?
Fontes: What I’m saying is that calling it a joke, when you don’t have the facts, and you don’t know the real facts of what’s going on and the issue, means that you’re casting doubt on perfectly good elections. And that is a problem for America.
Conradson: Just to clarify, you’re saying those who cast doubt on an election are terrorists?
Fontes: Without real evidence. You’re trying to put words in my mouth, and you’re not paying attention. What you need to do, is you need to stop pretending like this is a political game. And you need to stop pretending like the people that went overseas to die for our right to vote, who volunteered to give their lives for our constitution like me, did it as some kind of a political game. You need to respect the work that neighbors and friends across the state do every single cycle that you are calling into question. That is offensive to all those good people for doing their jobs. And now in the face of threats, because of what you joke around with. You got to check yourself. You got to check yourself against our democracy.
Conradson: Are you saying this election was run so well, you can’t criticize it? Mr. Fontes, are you saying we can’t criticize this election because it was run well?
Fontes: Not with a lie
Conradson: There’s no lie. Where’s the lie? Did the machines fail or not?
Fontes: They did not.
Conradson: Did the printers fail or not? Did the printers fail? No answers from Adrian Fontes.
