President Trump’s plane, Trump Force One, touched down in Ohio at approximately 1:30 pm Wednesday. As Trump’s motorcade made its way into East Palestine, Ohio, it was greeted by cheering residents lining the streets holding American flags, Trump flags, and “Let’s Go Brandon” signs. Trump shook hands with his supporters who were lining the road before attending a meeting with Ohio Senator, JD Vance, and East Palestine Mayor, Trent Conaway. Following the meeting, Trump, Vance and Conaway gave remarks.

In a speech to the people of East Palestine, Ohio, Trump did not hold back his criticism of Biden “I sincerely hope that when your representatives and all of the politicians get here, including Biden, they get back from touring Ukraine, that he’s got some money left over.” Trump also told the people of East Palestine in his speech, “You are not forgotten … We stand with you… Americans have been inspired by your strength and your courage.”

Before his arrival, Trump’s team announced that Donald Trump would donate gallons of cleaning supplies and thirteen pallets of water to the people of East Palestine, Ohio. Trump’s team arrived about an hour before Trump to pass out supplies. Twitter users cheered as videos of Team Trump handing out supplies emerged.

Donald Trump visited East Palestine, Ohio, before Joe Biden, who spent his week in Ukraine and Poland to mark the one-year anniversary of the Ukraine- Russia War. While in Europe, Biden announced that the United States would give Ukraine another 500 million dollars of aid. East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway called Biden’s Ukraine visit the “biggest slap in the face.”

Last week, the Biden Administration denied Ohio’s request for a disaster declaration. However, FEMA changed its mind and accepted Ohio’s disaster declaration after Donald Trump announced he would visit East Palestine.

Trump told the people of Ohio, “If they don’t come back and give you the treatment that you need, we will be back.” Following his remarks, Trump visited a local McDonald’s and was greeted by thunderous applause from locals.

It is unknown if or when Joe Biden will travel to the town.
