FBI Used Turncoat Staffer to Spy on Rep. Santos Before his Arrest

The Biden DOJ arrested Congressman George Santos on Wednesday, slapping him with what have been widely described as trumped-up politicized charges, after turning one of his staffers against him and using that staffer as a spy. Santos has pled not guilty to a total of 13 charges and has been released on a $500,000 bond.

Tuesday night, ahead of Santos’ arrest, former Santos staffer Derek Myers revealed on Twitter that he met with the FBI in an effort to work as a confidential informant and human asset against the Congressman. In effect, Myers was acting as a federal spy planted inside Santos’ office.

“I can publicly confirm that during my brief time in the Congressman’s office, I had met secretly with agents from @FBI in an effort to work as a confidential informant and human asset against the Congressman during my course of employment in his office. I cannot go into further detail at this time,” Myers tweeted.

Following his arraignment in a New York court, Rep. George Santos told the media gathered on the courthouse steps, “It’s a witch hunt. It makes no sense. You have Joe Biden’s entire family receiving deposits from foreign destinations into their bank accounts, and yet no investigation is launched into them!”

Lawyer Mike Cernovich, who called out Deep State corruption in his movie “The Plot Against the President,” pointed out that two charges against Santos are over an amount of $564.

“Republican George Santos’ indictment includes criminal charges for two, $564 unemployment payments. I had to zoom in to make sure I was reading it correctly and that it wasn’t missing zeros. $564!” Cernovich tweeted.

Many are accusing the Biden DOJ of arresting Santos to divert media attention away from Wednesday’s Hunter Biden press conference, where the House GOP members announced they had proof of a significant Biden family money laundering scheme.

Santos faces up to 20 years in federal prison if convicted on all charges.
