DeSantis Supporter Massie Doesn’t Believe in Listening to Constituents

Rep. Thomas Massie, one of the few members of Congress who supports Ron DeSantis for president, tweeted on Wednesday that he won’t listen to his constituents’ wishes, no matter how many phone calls his office receives. Massie tweeted this after his office was bombarded with calls asking the Kentucky Congressman to support Anna Paulina Luna’s censure of Adam Schiff.

Rep. Massie (KY-4) tweeted Wednesday afternoon, “What’s a joke is thinking I will vote for something I believe is unconstitutional if I get enough phone calls asking me to. ”

The United States Constitution states that an elected representative’s job is to listen to their constituents. Massie’s complete disregard for this critical American principle, combined with the fact that Massie has endorsed Ron DeSantis for president, leads many to believe that Massie is a globalist in disguise.

Massie’s office has been receiving a high level of calls from constituents after the Kentucky Congressman tweeted, “Adam Schiff acted unethically but if a resolution to fine him $16 million comes to the floor, I will vote to table it. (vote against it) In fact, I’m still litigating a federal lawsuit against Pelosi over a salary reduction she imposed on me for my refusal to wear a mask.”

Massie endorsed Ron DeSantis for President earlier this year before DeSantis even announced he was running for president. Massie’s endorsement of DeSantis read, “America needs a leader who is decisive, respects the Constitution, understands policy, puts family first, and leads by inspiring. That’s why I’m endorsing Ron DeSantis for President. If we make the right choices, America’s best days are in front of us. Let’s pick a proven energetic leader who can get us there,” he continued. “Let’s choose Ron DeSantis for President.”

If you would like to call Massie before Thursday’s vote, the Kentucky Congressman can be reached at (859) 426-0080 or (202) 225-3465.
