Trump’s Poll Numbers in Georgia Get Stronger Following Indictment

Last Updated on August 29, 2023

New Georgia GOP Primary Polling from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution shows Donald Trump has expanded his lead since Fani Willis’ indictment against him. The same poll shows Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has lost 15 points in the state since April. DeSantis has faced backlash from GOP voters for not standing with Trump following Trump’s arrests.

Donald Trump is currently leading with 57% , followed by Ron DeSantis 15%, Pence 4%, Ramaswamy 3%, Scott 3% , Haley 3% Christie 2% and Suarez 1%.

Since April, Donald Trump has picked up 7 points in the Peach State while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has lost 15 points. It looks like half of DeSantis’ support went to Donald Trump, which is why Trump gained 7 points. The other half seems to have gone to Christie, who has a 2 point bump since April, Pence, who also has a 2 point bump since April and Vivek, who has a 3 point bump since April.

Georgia polling also shows Trump is crushing DeSantis, with female voters leading him 57-13%. When it comes to GOP voters in the 18-29 range, Trump leads DeSantis 59-12%. This is Trump’s largest lead out of all the age demographics.

Trump’s massive lead with young people spells bad news for Brian Kemp, MTG and the globalist GOP Georgia establishment. Young GOP voters will not allow the Republican Party to move away from America First Policy and politicians. Young GOP voters have embraced Loomers and NationalFile’s criticism of Kemp and MTG. This is because young GOP voters have seen their lives transformed for the worse and are angry at do-nothing Republicans for allowing the globalists to transform America.

Trump commented on his surging poll numbers Tuesday, writing on TruthSocial, ” My Poll numbers are UP since the very boring, record-setting low (ratings!), Debate. Leading by BIG numbers. I made the right decision, and broke all records with the Tucker Carlson Interview!”

The Georgia GOP primary is on March 12. Based on current polling in other states, it is highly likely Trump will have the delegates needed to clinch the GOP nomination by that date.
