Frasier star Kelsey Grammer supports President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, and the Paramount studio reportedly does not want Grammer talking too much about it.
“I am. And I’ll let that be the end of it,” Kelsey Grammer said, when asked by a BBC interviewer named Justin Webb if he is continuing to support President Trump. It was Paramount that evidently decided that Grammer’s Trump support should not be delved into.
BBC interviewer Justin Webb elaborated, “I have to say, actually, Kelsey Grammer himself was perfectly happy to go on talking about it. The Paramount+ PR people, less happy that he talked about it at some length so we… They decided that we’d had plenty of time for our interview. But I should stress that he was absolutely perfectly happy to talk about why he supports Donald Trump and still does in the coming election.”
Interesting. Why won’t Hollywood let a living legend like Kelsey Grammer talk? Grammer has been playing Dr. Frasier Crane since the 1980’s on Cheers, and then through the celebrated run of Frasier on NBC. Grammer is also the voice of “Sideshow Bob” on The Simpsons, and an all-around living legend.
Kelsey Grammer is producing and starring in the Paramount Plus Frasier reboot, in which his Frasier Crane character reconnects with his economically less-fortunate son, a generational premise that may resonate with many families as the future of the American economy looks bleak. Nevertheless, Grammer’s charm and gravitas bode well for the optimistic reboot.
