Musk Promises Suspensions for Doxxing, Except for Canary Mission

Last Updated on February 6, 2024

On this year’s “Safer Internet Day,” Elon Musk, owner of the X, posted on his platform that accounts that dox other accounts will be suspended. Such a stance could weigh heavily against Jewish NGOs that thrive on id’ing adversaries in the hopes of “canceling” the individual. However, in light of recent affairs, that seems unlikely.

On X, there has been a constant feud between the Zionists and the anti-Zionists, who tend to be nationalists. These Jewish nonprofits have kicked their pro-Zionist messages into overdrive by targeting any and all dissent.

Canary Mission, a Jewish NGO that “exposes hatred and antisemitism on college campuses and beyond,” has essentially destroyed the careers and the general livelihood of numerous nationalists and anti-Zionists. If one doesn’t abide, they will be labeled, stigmatized and forced into exile.

Canary Mission doxxed Stop Zionist Hate and plans to release more information.

On Monday, Canary Mission posted private information about Stop Zionist Hate (SZH), an adversarial non-governmental organization. The post, now pinned to Canary Mission’s X account, names the owner of SZH along with the person’s other associated accounts: Raven Mission, which documents “cases of complicity and indifference in the face of human suffering,” and Truwire, SZH’s news account on politics and current affairs. All three accounts are generally considered counter-Semitic, opposing Zionism.

Canary Mission, in its doxxing of SZH, also sub-posted the founder’s LinkedIn account along with a link to a video on its webpage.

This is a follow-up post showing SZH’s founder’s LinkedIn on X.

Musk seemed to acknowledge the overwhelming danger of doxxing after he posted a reply to Jason Calacanis of All In, which stated:

Many would lose their job or worse if they posted under their real name. That is why we take real name doxxing very seriously.

Canary Mission posted a link revealing the identity of the person behind SZH.

However, it doesn’t exactly appear everyone at X is on board with Musk. Former Utah Senatorial candidate Sam Parker posted an emailed response to Canary Mission’s doxxing of SZH.

Above is an emailed response from X concerning Canary Mission’s doxxing of Stop Zionist Hate.

This all comes as a wave of suspensions encircled the Dissident Right, nationalists and anti-Zionists. After Musk’s trip to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp with neoconservative Ben Shapiro, the platform has seen abused community notes and random suspensions against dissidents, including several prominent accounts just as of today.

X also appears to be undergoing some infrastructure changes, possibly inducing some of these occurrences. The so-called “free speech” platform has certainly taken steps towards censorship and ensuring “the internet(‘s) safe and inclusive.
