HBO fears Trump will return to office if SCOTUS rules in his favor.
HBO host John Oliver offered Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas a million dollars a year and a luxury RV to resign from the US’ highest court, in the latest sign unhinged liberals are growing increasingly desperate to keep Donald Trump from again assuming power.
In the establishment-backed host’s latest attempt at comedy, Oliver blames Justice Thomas for attacking “women’s rights” to murder babies in the womb, and claims he pals around with white supremacists who have shrines to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
“You deserve a break, you know, away from the meanness of Washington so you can be surrounded by the regular folks whose lives you’ve made demonstrably worse for decades now,” Oliver says, adding, “and the good news is I think we can help you there because since your favorite mode of travel might be in need of an upgrade, we are excited to offer you this brand new top of the line Prevost Marathon motor coach.”
Oliver goes on to describe the RV’s amenities, saying it contains a full bedroom with a king-sized bed, one and a half bathrooms, a fireplace, four TVs, a washer dryer and a residential-sized fridge.
“And if you thinking what my friends say if I take this will they judge me, as they sit in their boardrooms and mega-yachts and Hitler shrines?
“Well, that’s the beauty, real friends they’ll love you no matter what your job is, so I guess this might be the perfect way to find out who your real friends actually are.”
“So that’s the offer: a million dollars a year, Clarence, and a brand new condo on wheels. And all you have to do in return is sign the contract and get the fuck off the Supreme Court. Starts now. 30 days. Let’s do this.”
Oliver’s corrupt offer comes as two of the former president’s court cases this week are set to go before the Supreme Court, where Justice Thomas lends to a 6-3 conservative majority over liberal-leaning justices.
The SCOTUS will as soon as this week issue decisions on Trump’s immunity claim in his federal case overseen by prosecutor Jack Smith, and his ballot eligibility case in Colorado, where the state’s Supreme Court has agreed to remove Trump from the Republican primary ballot over supposedly engaging in insurrection.
Oliver’s offer is also a jab at Thomas, whose been the focus of a media hit-job smear campaign over the past few years for befriending one of his wealthy donors.
Oliver’s latest move shows crazed liberals, acutely aware the Supreme Court won’t stop Trump, are trying everything they can to prevent another Trump presidency.
