A staff member in Vice President Mike Pence’s office tested positive for the Chinese Coronavirus.
“This evening we were notified that a member of the Office of the Vice President tested positive for the Coronavirus,” Pence’s spox Katie Miller said Friday evening.
“Neither President Trump nor VP Pence had close contact with the individual. Further contact tracing is being conducted in accordance with CDC guidelines,” Pence’s spokeswoman said.
Breaking on @MSNBC: The White House is confirming a member of the Vice President's Office has tested positive for coronavirus. The White House advising this individual has not, they say, had close contact with Pence or Trump.

So far two members of Congress have also tested positive for the Wuhan Coronavirus.
GOP Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (FL) and Dem Rep Ben McAdams (UT) both announced this week they got infected with the virus.
A White House doctor said in a statement this week that President Trump tested negative for the Wuhan Coronavirus.
