The White House is refusing to say whether or not the National Security Agency was in fact illegally monitoring the electronic communications of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Aboard Air Force One en route to Wisconsin, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki if the National Security Agency was spying on Tucker Carlson as was revealed on his show last night. Psaki dodged the question and refused to answer it, referring the reporter to the intelligence community instead. “Tucker Carlson said that NSA is spying on him, is the administration aware of any espionage or listening efforts on US citizens by the NSA, and is Tucker Carlson one of them?” asked the reporter.
Rather than denying the claims, Psaki beat around the bush. “Uh, well, the NSA, as I think you’re well aware, I’m sure everyone’s aware, uh, everyone on this plane is aware, I should say, is uh, an entity that focuses on foreign threats and individuals uh, who are tr-attempting to do us harm on foreign soil. So, uh, that is the, their, uh, purview, um, but, uh, beyond that I would point you to the intelligence community,” Psaki said.

Carlson revealed that the NSA was illegally spying on him in order to leak information in an effort to get his show “Tucker Carlson Tonight” taken off the air, as National File reported. “Yesterday we heard from a whistleblower within the U.S. government who reached out to warn us that the NSA, the National Security Agency, is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air,” Carlson stated. “Now that’s a shocking claim, and ordinarily we’d be skeptical of it, it is illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens, it’s a crime. This is not a third-world country, things like that should not happen in America. But unfortunately, they do happen, and in this case, they did happen.”
Democrats rushed to the defense of the agency immediately after Carlson broke the news on his show. However, supporters of Americans’ Constitutional rights were equally as quick to condemn the agency for illegally spying on Carlson. Greg Kelly, host of “Greg Kelly Reports” on Newsmax TV, trolled the “DEEP STATE” NSA and FBI in a lengthy text to Fox News host Tucker Carlson after it was revealed that the intelligence agency was illegally monitoring Carlson’s electronic communications in an effort to get his show taken off the air, as National File reported.
“Hey Tucker. Great show. brb – I gotta send a message to the Deep State,” wrote Kelly to Carlson. “HEY DEEP STATE. ESPECIALLY THE NSA AND FBI reading my private communications with fellow American citizen Tucker Carlson since he is apparently a person of interest in your political (and illegal) Witch Hunt. GO TO HELL.” Kelly added, “Stay out of it,” and, “Just because Biden and the media are asleep, the Constitution is NOT.”
